  1. Past hour
  2. This team is going to be frustrating in its immaturity at times… but it’s going to ( hopefully ) learn rapidly and is also why they’re so exciting on other days. Go get em today, go for the series… hope for at worse a split. Get Mune back… draft strong… and hopefully get some arms before the deadline.
  3. Easy to have that feeling when you run into three outs on the bases, fail to bring RISP with no outs, and walk the universe… so yes, I’m sure you weren’t alone.
  4. Yeah, Mighty Mite, I couldn't get a very good read on whether the coach green-lighted Chase there or not. But I'm sure some learning took place.
  5. I get that feeling. Us Sox fans are used to that. But this team has shown time and again that they aren’t the same Sox teams of the past. They lose a tough one or two and we and we all expect that to be the downfall and then they surprise everyone and start winning again.
  6. P.S. They offer a 7-day free trial, so if you should decide it's not for you, you can cancel before any charges are assessed to your credit card.
  7. Hey WBWSF, this may or may not be helpful, but for what it's worth, I don't have a traditional TV-- just a Dell laptop computer, with U-Verse as my Wi-Fi, and I simply went to the CHSN website and signed up for their "Sox games only" option, for $19.99 per month (via credit card). And I'm happy as a lark watching every Sox game on my laptop. The picture quality is great, and the broadcast coverage very professional. You can cancel any time. Sure, watching on the laptop isn't up there with the big-screen experience, but I'm loving it!
  8. Davis' value is currently cratering...
  9. One play stumped me, Did Meidroth tag up and try to make 3rd on his own or did the coach give him the OK sign. Either way it was dumb and hope someone learned from it.
  10. Today
  11. BigHurt, I'm sure the guys have flushed that one, and are ready to fight hard this evening. Plenty of mistakes contributed to that loss, yet plenty of good things happened too. If nothing else, there are a lot of Sox players thinking, "I will learn from that, and improve going forward." Not such a horrible thing (although a win would've been so nice)!
  12. Then there's the draft. If they get a CF they really wanted, Fauske becomes available. Get a couple solid college pitching prospects, Gabe Davis could be had.
  13. You could sign up for a trial of Walmart Plus and you get Peacock with it. And then just cancel Walmart Plus before 30 days so you don't get charged. Do you have Xfinity Gig internet? If so you get Peacock for free.
  14. The White Sox game is on the Peacock channel this Sunday. I have no clue as to how I can acquire the channel. I have AT%T Uverse . Do I call AT%T? Can I just buy the channel for the one day? .
  15. Yeah so I was on one last night. I was just so frustrated because we literally had no business winning that game and we could’ve stolen one where our starter didn’t even make it through 4. If this team has been anything, it’s resilient, so let’s see what they’ve got tonight.
  16. Machu Picchu is the most beautiful place in the world IMO. Never got a chance to do an Amazon River tour or Iguazu Falls, but nothing on the bucket list.

Phil Fox in Birmingham seems like a promising young player. 22 K’s and only 5 walks in 23 innings.
  18. Our best pitcher having a bad night doesn’t mean unfinished product. If it was Fedde or Kay, then it would be a bad story. This is baseball, dudes have bad nights.
  19. I hope they prove me wrong but I cant help but feel this is the start of the Sox coming back to earth. They just don't have the pitching to contend through 162 games. If were honest none of us had this team contending this year. With the right additions the window for winning starts next year.

  21. Those Davis Martin home/road splits are real ugly.
  22. Still looking for any feedback you may have....since posting here (and other places) I've done a ton of additional work on the site and have had a few thousand viewers.
  23. I hate to say this but I went to bed after the top of 8th because I also had that feeling and I didn’t want to watch a walk off by the Guards.

That's today's question. We could have used him in Cleveland last night instead of Eisert.
  25. I don't know about anybody else but watching the game, I just had the feeling it was gonna play out the way it did.
  26. Well since we are in a fight for a playoff spot I guess we won’t be seeing much of him unless we have huge leads.
