We heard all this same stuff in 1992 when the US hosted it and then still nobody cared until 30+ years later. It's a nice story for a couple months. There is nothing more boring than a soccer game in my opinion. The average soccer game scores like 3 goals in 90+ minutes. Imagine if basketball had no shot clock today and every team ran a 4 corners offense and took a shot every 10 minutes. That's soccer.
