It might be better off if we finished 2nd in the division rather than 1st if Cleveland ends up 3rd and our 1st round opponent. Stud righty killers in a short series is literally the worst match-up for us.

Yeah I'd keep Kopech and Vaughn down to get the extra year to space out the contracts so that not everyone is a FA at the same time. If we sign a SP like Bauer (or even Q) on a 1 yr deal it will be an absolute lock that Kopech will be kept down. Collins or whoever can DH for a month till Vaughn is brought up.
