How are Twins fans as far as Sox fans going into Target Field? Sox are going to be in Minny for my birthday weekend and I'm thinking about taking my kid and wife out there. Outside of Mall of America, is there anything else out there?
-
What does Coby and a pick realistically get you? Is Danny Green good defensively? Is Coby and a 1 too rich for Green? Would Coby fit with Miami? Duncan Robinson was benched in the playoffs for some reason, could he be a fit? Coby hit 38% from beyond the arc and the Bulls need shooting. Would they be better off keeping him and #18? Or with Caruso and the emergence of Ayo just too much of the same with Coby?
-
Now the question is, is Mooney a #1? They put up pretty much the same numbers last year. Of course it'd be nice to have 2 #1 type guys, but if I'm giving up draft assets, it's gonna be for OL help....if there's any out there.
-
Curious...do you think Terry McLaurin is a #1 WR?
-
I wish player for player trades were more common in the NFL. Love to trade him for some immediate OL help.

I haven't been able to follow as much as I'd like, but I still very much plan on going every chance I get. I still believe in this team turning it around and for years I've said managers don't matter all that much so I'd be a flipper if I said I'm not gonna go to games now because of the manager.
-
Happened twice last year. Both times it was after 1st base opened up after a wild pitch/stolen base, just like today.

A lot of talk about the bulls being interested in Gobert and Mitchell Robinson. Not sure I'd go higher than Vooch/White/1R Pick for Rudy. Sounds like it might take that AND Williams. Definitely gonna pass on that. Would there be enough scoring if you signed Robinson and traded Vooch for a shooter? Do you think the Bulls would keep Vooch if they signed Robinson and bring Williams off the bench?

Kid loves surprises. Glamping is definitely something that has been talked about with the wife. Right now he's just into comic books so I'm not sure that's gonna help. Lol.

I know nows not really the best time for a road trip with gas prices the way they are, but my 7 year old wants to go on one. Unfortunately he's not into sports yet, and he's 42" tall and that seems to be still too short for a theme park. He's not much of a fan of just hiking either. Anyone have any fun ideas for a little road trip?

I'd still very much like to see Fisher or Brown, but from the sounds of it, we might see Borum and Jenkins as the tackles, which is mildly surprising/potentially disappointing. Solomon Thomas is another guy I'm still interested in as a depth piece. I think Mario Edwards takes the 3T position and is fairly decent. I'm at a weird spot where I'm trying to convince myself the Bears might be fairly competitive. There's a lot of boom or bust pretty much everywhere on this team.

I think we all need some non sox discussion in our lives...... Bears are linked to Will Fuller(by one NFL writer in NY).... Bears are likely not going anywhere, so what's the harm in throwing a little cash to a guy who will help Justin Fields for 10ish games? Lol. That WR group with Fuller, Mooney, and Jones would be just silly fast. Pringle is no plodder either. It'd be a lot of fun to watch....again, for 10 games. Lol.

What would the asking price be for Daron Payne? Still just 25 and someone I would absolutely extend and plug in as the 3T the next 4 or 5 years.

Kopech deserves an out. Give that man a W. -
Will Vera be up before Abreu retires???!
-
Mena seems low doesn't he? I haven't been able to keep up that much, but his stats and the way this board talks about him, I was a little surprised to see him at 19.
-
I believe I heard on the radio he's still near the top of the league in barrells this season. If that is the case, it sounds like he's been a bit unlucky. Not sure where to find that stat, but I'm sure someone else can confirm.
-
The over/under right now is at 6.5....I can definitely see them hitting the over. Now that might just be 7, but if I had to bet, I'd take the over. Split with Minny and Detroit, and wins against Houston, Atlanta, Miami, and a New York sweep.

Bears are adding Dante Pettis and Tajae Sharpe. 2 guys of mild interest who once had some promise. I remember Pettis having a good stretch his rookie year and me being happy to pick him up in fantasy football. I also remember drafting Sharpe one year in fantasy football and thinking he was gonna be a steal..... probably just guys who will battle it out for the 4th and 5th spot with EQ and Moore. Dante is Gary Pettis son.

Sooooo, what are we making of all the Lavine talk? If he does indeed want out, I hope they could swing a sign and trade. Portland wants him, idk what sort of leverage they'd have, but could they get their first this year AND Simons or Jusef?
-
I absolutely agree. I hope Ebner gets some rub to. He looks like he can be a fun player to watch. I would not be surprised if he becomes the #2.
-
I mean, yes, I absolutely think so..I'm not sure what stats to look at here as to what you're looking for but last year the Falcons were 15th in passing yards and they had 3900 yards....the Bears had 3600....Do I think they could throw for 25 more yards per game, absolutely. Then when I look at the Packers weapons, who Getsy comes from and we're in the top 10 in offense, I absolutely think they can match what they did. Adams>>>>Mooney obviously, but beyond that, the production you're not getting from Mooney vs Adams is gonna be made up across the board. I think ALL the Bears secondary weapons are better than the Packers secondary weapons.
-
Depends on what you consider normal levels. Lol.
-
Yeah, I'm definitely with you on the line. I'd be super bummed and a little surprised if they don't bring in a LT. I guess with sooooo many bodies they might be able to find a competent guard. Poles said he needs to see guys in pads. I just hope the limited market doesn't pass him by.
-
Good find, I hadn't heard that. Dude was legit buried behind 3 guys who might be #1 WRs. One guy just had 900 yards in his rookie season, another just put up 1000 in his 2nd season, and the 3rd just got drafted 8th overall. I don't expect Velus to be a #1, but if he comes in and gives you even 50 catches for 600ish yards, and stretches the field with his 4.31 speed, it's a quality 3rd round pick.
