  1. Yes, ask Kyle Teel.
  2. So tomorrow: it’s Vargas at 1st, Gonzalez at 2nd, Meidroth at SS, and Colson at 3rd. Does that sound right? And it’s that way for the next ten games or so. Again, correct?
  3. This and other people freaking out/ giving up is silly. Colson is heating up. Gonzalez will hit up here. They’ll be fine against Detroit next two, and at Minnesota, and yes at Philly. After that they will really need Mune.
  4. Either after the game or early tomorrow, someone needs to start a tread about who can replace Fedde in the rotation. The minors? Floating around vets? Stretch out Newcomb?
  5. I’m officially at big whoop on this info. I would be shocked if he plays before June 20th. Pleasanly shocked but still shocked. I just have a gut feeling it will be around July 1.
  6. Vargas is a solid defensive 3rd baseman. But Colson with his strong arm really makes it look easy. How 3rd base should be played.
  7. I keep saying this over and over: Sox are getting repeatedly job on these replays. How can you say there was definitive proof on that to over turn that call. Getz has to go and talk to someone face to face.
  8. And Ryan asshole, don’t b**** about your bad luck. Did the only hits you gave up all come in a row? Did a triple hit the foul line on you?? You’re luckier than hell that you didn’t get an L tonight.
  9. Twins pitcher is a dick. Let’s put a 3-spot on him in the 8th and get this one.
  10. Let's beat up on the Twin and get our Mojo back!
  11. I am okay with the move but really, really surprised it was Rikuu and not Jacob Gonzalez. Is the plan to put Rikuu in the outfield? I would guess that Gonzalez and his agent have to be wondering WTF is going on here.
  12. Wow, what is the point of this post except to be mean spirited and kick a guy when he’s down?
  13. Marquette basketball coach Al McGuire used to always say, “The best thing about freshmen is they become sophomores.” That’s how I feel about Antonnaci’s defense in left field.
  14. Sometimes Colson and Mune can chase bad pitches but it’s so different than the last few years when 7 or 8 guys in our lineup would swing at some terrible balls outside the zone. Some of the stuff waaay low and away that Robert would swing at . . . used to amaze me and just completely irritate me. Not watching Robert chase bad pitches is probably the main reason I was glad to see him go.
  15. Oh, I forgot about Hayes coming back. I was thinking that if they DFA Acuna, that they could bring up Jacob Gonzales. Have you all noticed what he's been doing down in Charlotte. He's up to 15 home runs with an OPS of 1.065 (all his batting numbers are nuts). That's some crazy stuff; it seems like he has to come up soon, but where and for whom?
  16. Okay Burke, this is where we're at after that complete crap game you pitched against the Cubs. If you pitch a good game today, we're gonna be thinking, "Oh great. You can pitch a good game now in Seattle, but against the Cubs you have to suck it up? What's up with that? Huh . . . asshole." If you pitch a bad game, it's gonna be, "Oh great, another stinky game, just like against the Cubs. Nice job . . . asshole". Bottom line here: It takes a while for us to forgive poor performances against the Cubs.
  17. I would bet 1st time Antonicci gets a chance to run into an infielder, he is gonna do it and continue to do it every chance he gets. Like when he gets hit when he can, he has now found another way to bend the rules in his favor.
  18. This Josh Naylor thing with how he is continually able to kill Sox pitching makes no sense, none. The law of percentages indicates that his hitting like he does against the Sox should be WAAAY over by now, or at the least, start to tail off. But it never does; he just keeps killing whoever is pitching for the Sox and he’s been doing it over the last few years. There has to some sort of hellspawn curse that allows Naylor to hit Sox pitching like he does. Maybe Vasil should use his magic wand and do an “Arvada Ka-asshola” spell for Naylor and break his evil spell over Sox pitching.
  19. The over/ under for Teel has now moved from June 1 to July 1. With it now being July 1, I still feel confident taking the over.
  20. When do the Sox go north and play the Cubs. I don’t see any reason the Sox can’t hit a bunch of homers at Wrigley and win that series too.
  21. Huge, just huge White Sox win and still three or four post on this thread alone bitching about Schriffen. Jesus . . . . this board is something else.
  22. That and . . . . the 1st base umpire correctly ruled that Bergman swung thru on that one pitch, and the inning starts with a strikeout, like it should have.
  23. Did you all hear what they said about Teel tweaking his knee last night. When we saw him pull it at the WBC, did anybody think the White Sox would not have Teel until, at least, June? Because that’s where we’re at.
  24. I don’t care about Kelenic’s worthless home run last night long after the game was over. Again like last night, he struck out with a guy on 2nd and didn’t get him to 3rd. That was a huge play last night. Cost Sox a run last night, and now again tonight. He HAS to put the ball in play and move that runner.
