  1. Since Pathetica doesn't care about the people who hate them OR the people who like them, I'm sure they're blissfully ignorant of any criticism. They just keep mailing it in for the sheep like you who buy their inferior trash and rush to their defense like some obsessed girlfriend. And the super-clever McDonald's comment just shows your complete and total lack of originality and thought. Hope whatever imaginary job offer you have doesn't involve creative thought, or that company would be in trouble ( if it actually ever existed, that is... )
  2. Cameras SUCK, eh Maury??? Without a camera, it's your word against theirs - I heard that from Team Kobe!! If that's the teaser, I cannot WAIT to see what is on the way!!!
  3. We were about 5 feet away from you guys, but when we went to leave, I looked and your ENTIRE group was gone!!! It was amazing! Ten people AT LEAST - just GONE! And PLEASE put out a search party for Maury's favorite cooler - he has another one, but it's just NOT THE SAME!! There are so many hazy, fuzzy "semi-memories" for RPS and his "Cooly"!!!
  4. HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! That makes me think about that commercial for digital cable.........."You must be a model"..............then the chicks turn on Star Trek and the 2 guys are frozen watching it.............funny............ who would the Sox comic book characters be? Frank Thomas is the Hulk - you wouldn't like him when he's angry Jose Valentin is Daredevil - fields like he can't see the ball ...that's all I got right now....still "recuperating" a little from last night - I'm such a puss when it comes to drinking...........but I TRY, and that's gotta count for something!!
  5. Actually, Koch, the Hernandez blast was our "lovely parting gift" - when he hit that, we knew it was time to go... ..."not our night"... Maury was starting to sober up, and he was getting a little cranky! I'm not a huge fan of the fireworks, but I'll see those in 2 weeks when i bring the wife and daughter to see the Sox vs. Rangers. I'm a MUCH bigger fan of easy-exit parking lots than I am of fireworks!
  6. Steff held up that "Sally Sox" sign between the 2nd and 3rd innings, and some sissy-looking dolt holding up the "Fan Fred" sign beat her for some prize. Don't know how they decided that, but that guy was a tool... and Maury didn't have enough $$$ to go EVIL on me, so thank God for small miracles...
  7. Sorry, Killa, but I must disagree. When your beginnings are LARGELY based on giving away tapes of your stuff and almost BEGGING people to make copies and give them to your friends, to turn around later and say it's not cool anymore to give your friends copies of their music is going to piss people off. What I can't understand is why anyone would even WANT any of the spew from anything from the "black album" on - to my ears, it's inferior, it's only gotten worse and it's anything BUT metal. That clangy disjointed garbage on Stanger is unlistenable. The drums are horrible, the bass is obtrusive, the lyrics are juvenile and whiney, the songs are disjointed and aimless, and the solos are non-existent. That CD is nothing but clangy rattling crap, and it's an embarrassment to the legacy of the band who USED to have no peer, but has LONG since lost their relevance in the metal world. That's NOT to say they're unpopular, which is clearly not the case, but they ARE irrelevant.
  8. Just wanted to say that EXCEPT for the final score, I had a GREAT time meeting all you guys at the tailgate and the game! It was VERY cool to meet HSC, Koch This, cwsox, Steff, Mr. Buerhle and Heather and her Saturn f***ING Ion. Also great to see Mr. Show again! I just wish the Sox had put on a better show. And Steff, I think Sally DEFINITELY should have won tonight!!! Hope to see you guys all again soom!!

    She's WACKYLICIOUS!!!
  10. BTW, if Cotts really is only throwing 87 mph, I think Wright should get the start. The law of averages HAS to come into play at some point and get DW a win!!
  11. So who here likes Carl Everett? Who's going to Sunday's game? What's the deal with Bartolo's chia-pet hair? .........sorry.............what was the topic again??

you know, you "could" tie up an unwilling sex partner with a necktie!!!
  13. This whole Jessica Lynch thing makes me nauseous. She got caught in an ambush, captured and hurt pretty bad and for that I feel for her, but that's where it ends. She did not "empty her m16 into the Iraqi hordes" or do anything else that can be defined as heroic. The press got a hold of this one and blew it way out of proportion. They are giving her a bronze star for valor too ACK!! If anyone wants to make a movie about anyone they need to make one about a guy named Sergeant First Class Marshall from the 11th engineer Battalion. This stud killed over 50 Iraqis with his crew served weapon before being fatally wounded. He was credited with single handedly holding off a large dismounted Iraqi attack until reinforcements could arrive. I understand that he will be put in for the medal of honor soon, but certainly, as usual, the real heros are only known by a precious few. ...too bad he wasn't a 19-year-old small town girl.... UGH....
  14. Actually, you're both right. The Big 3 for Oakland are VERY good pitchers, AND they haven't won big in the playoffs yet. ..........IT'S A TIE!!!!!!!!!!
  15. The Critic replied to 1549's topic in SLaM
    ...so you "liberated" them???
  16. About 20 or so cities around the U.S. per year. ...and one in Canada!!! SO THERE!!! TAKE THAT!! BANG!!!!!!!!!!

...bet there was no problem getting tickets... Ben Who-Fleck is a block of wood, and J-Ho is nothing more than an ass. The only good thing about them making movies together is that I only have to avoid one movie to avoid them both at the same time!
  18. ...but then brought back up in September to cause a 3-man logjam for playing time at 1B. Remember, Choi is one of "The Big Three", and so far only Patterson has shown he can hit at the big-league level, and even THAT was only for half a year. You know Big Dust has his marching orders to get Hee Flops into the lineup in September, so they can TRY to show that their minor-league system can develop TWO players every decade or so...Hill will probably get his next big-league shot in Pittsburgh. If I'm Palmeiro, I say Thanks but No Thanks...not gonna win anything in the Ivy Covered House Of Disappointment anyway...

DON'T MAKE EXCUSES FOR HIM, FAINTER!!!!!!! "He's a big boy, he knows what he said...."
  20. UGH.....nice matchup. Couldn't be Loaiza vs. Mulder or Buerhle vs. Zito or something like that. THANKS, oh Gods Of Rotation Fates.....thanks for nuthin'....

How, Dr. PinStripes? The angle of the leg? Distinctive swelling? Discoloration visible through the uniform pants? Please share your diagnostic methods and techniques... :finger :finger
  22. If the section number starts with a 5, the front row becomes less impressive... Regardless, nice ticket score, Indy.
  23. For sake of comparison: Palmeiro .251 27hr 76rbi 13dbls 67rs Thomas .265 27hr 67rbi 25dbls 59rs Raffy is still an offensive threat, and he doesn't embarrass himself defensively at first base either ( and PLEASE don't take that to mean that I think Frank does, because I've been impressed with his play over at 1B this year, infrequent as it may be ). WHY he'd want to go to the Cubs and split time with Karros in August and then with BOTH Karros and Hee Flops Choi in September is beyond me.
  24. The White Sox bullpen makes it interesting. The Red Sox bullpen makes it interesting. The Yankees bullpen makes it interesting. The Cardinals bullpen makes it interesting. All of these teams COULD be playoff bound, and most of them will get there. I'm just happy that Marte could get the 27th out. Some games, Gordon will get it. Some games, Koch MIGHT EVEN get it. As long as SOMEONE can close a game, I'm okay with it.
  25. Maybe Chris Berman??? Nahhh, he doesn't want to be around us "classless" fans when he can be watching the "VERY classy" LIVE broadcast of Kobe Bryant's legal proceedings....
