  1. WHEW... for a minute there, I thought you meant you had made baseball cards of SoxNet PEOPLE! I REALLY don't need to see a Maury PinStripes baseball card....although the batting statistics would be kind of amusing!!! :finger

Yeah, seriously bad. No nudity = no reason to watch her. Cute face, but there's a TON of cute faces anywhere you go.
  3. Yeah, they MURDER the Devil Rays and Tigers, and GET SLAPPED AROUND by the Red Sox and Twins.... The Sox' reputation has been the exact opposite - that they play to the level of competition. Nobody was talking about how TERRIBLE the Sox are against Seattle on Friday night or Saturday morning, were they? This is the bad thing about the Internet - too much knee-jerk reaction. Too happy when things go well, too pissed when the team hits a bump in the road. Just let the guys play, and let's see what happens.
  4. yeah, JM didn't give the team much of a chance today - Seattle is not the team to "Empty The Bench" against. ....but the SnR JINX is still in FULL EFFECT.....

I shouldn't laugh at that, cuz it's SO wrong in a lot of ways, but that's funny as hell!! Shannon Elizabeth is hot as hell, but she seems to be a bit of a beeeeyotch..........too bad.....

To be honest, I detest Nicolas Cage so much that I would NEVER watch a movie with him doing two roles.

He was the animal trainer at the birthday party. Will Farrell's character shot himself in the neck with the tranquilizer gun and fell into the swimming pool. SWS had to give him mouth-to-mouth. While Will was out, he was hallucinating about his wife, so when he came to, he French-kissed SWS while he was doing the mouth-to-mouth. So SWS got grossed out and kicked him back into the pool. Pretty funny scene...

Looks like Monday's gonna be PACKED. Best available tickets ( thorugh the Internet ) are in box 526, row 14. ( btw, I know someone did this yesterday, too, so SUE me!! ) Tuesday and Wednesday still have lower bowl tickets available, but I imagine that Tuesday will have good walkup, becuase of the Pepsi half-price deal. Nice to see the people come out to support the team!!!
  9. And KUDOS to espn for showing the idiot on SportsCenter doing the "switcheroo". The dumbest "tradition" in baseball just got dumber. Talk about buckling to peer pressure! What was going through that f***wipe's head while getting ready to go there?? "Cellphone? check. Bail money, just in case? check. Ball to throw onto field in the unlikely event of catching an opponent's home run ball, so the frat brothers don't knock the snot out of me for wanting to keep it? check!"

While I think a day off may do Frank some good, as it would any player on occasion, I really think JM needs to put Frank at first a couple times a week. Why Sox management refuses to acknowledge the man's history of hitting better when playing 1B is beyond me. There's nothing wrong with splitting time at first between PK and Frank. It would give each of them some time to rest ( playing "half the game" when DHing ) while still keeping both involved defensively. If it's a choice of involving Frank Thomas or Brian Daubach, please forgive me if I'm more concerned with keeping Thomas interested, involved and productive.

Sean William Scott is a very funny guy! Just saw Old School last night, and SWS was THE highlight of that movie. Overall, Old School was mediocre - started off terrible got a little better, but certainly not something I'd recommend.

VERY true. To use the ever-popular sCrUB exapmple, who do you think took the loss harder yesterday, the Sox who got spanked or the Lovable Losers blowing a 9th inning lead? Last night was one of those "not our night" deals, in my opinion, and not enough to destroy the confidence built over the last 3 weeks.
  13. Ahhhhhhhh, Maury's just jealous cuz AB-SO-LUTE-LY no one wants to be him!!! ...and Guido just wants to be the Fourth Beastie Boyeeeeeee!!!

If this year's team does not make the playoffs, it will be one of those "What If?" teams like the 77 team. There's a LOT of talent on this team, and people will look back at this roster and wonder how the hell this team didn't do more. Then they'll see the manager and go, "OHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh........" All of this is irrelevant, of course, IF and WHEN the Sox win the Central.

I have an idea, too. whenever someone wants to over-react to ONE LOSS, why not just step away from the computer and enjoy some time in the sun ( or the dark, if it's a 9:05 start )? This team has played VERY well lately, but they're NOT going to win every game. NO TEAM wins every game. If they lose 3 or 4 in a row, then maybe it's time to pound the Drums Of Doom, but one game is not enough to start panicking in the streets.
  16. I was trying to jinx the Jinx by talking about the Jinx! But now you have jinxed the jinxing of the Jinx by discussing the jinxing of the Jinx!!! :finger
  17. "Lima injure groin, now what will Lima do between Lima starts?" :finger Lima Time :finger
  18. Uh Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Has SnR been on since the All Star break???? ............will the JINX return?????? :finger
  19. At least the guys had the sense not to give Maury the keys to the car!!! MauryMod = BAD IDEA :finger
  20. although I was wondering today... SINCE he capitalizes the first word of a sentence or phrase, SHOULDN'T he spell his screen name "THEbighurtbegood"? BY the way PLEASE don't take it personally, cuz I'M just joking around ...also, I am relieved that the NYCPD review book is for the NYCPD test - it would be much harder if the NYCPD review book was for the LAPD test.
  21. "YOU ARE CORRECT, SIR, YES!!!" Stones = Crap and I certainly wouldn't want to get hit by one of those piss bottles! The thought of Keith Richards scolding the crowd is hilarious to me, by the way...
  22. I knew that he worked for the Boston Globe, but I had NO idea that the Boston Globe was located in Boston OR that the Red Sox played there!!!! Fact of the matter is, Gammons is an imbecile who is almost NEVER correct about anything he says. And he looks like a gerbil. And he is 112 years old. Also, I don't care about Phil Rogers - maybe if Phil Rogers was flapping his loose jowels on ESPN television instead of pecking away at his PC for espn.com, I'd have more of an opinion about him.
  23. Answer: FRED McGRIFF. It's not late August, so he hasn't begun his "Late Surge For The Meaningless 30 HR And 100 RBI" yet.

  25. If your eyes are super-strong like mine, you can make a 6-month supply of disposable contacts last 3 to 5 years!!! And taking them out is for WIMPS!! That tired feeling is your eyes BEGGING to the contacts to stay in!! You know what they say, "NO PAIN, NO GAIN"!!!!
