I have to wake up at 4 am every workday, so I'd never see his show otherwise unless I taped it. I watched Jimmy's show when it first aired and wasn't impressed. Maybe I'll try it again and see if he got more comfortable.

Truth. And might I remind folks that this is primarily a BASEBALL website, and therefore might attract people who WANT to know a 3rd string catcher's batting average? I personally enjoy the variety of opinions and appreciate reading facts and opinions that I may not have considered, but I certainly do NOT appreciate the condescending attitude thrown around by a SMALL number of posters here. If you want to look down your nose at people who choose not to dig around for inside political knowledge, MAYBE a message board dealing primarily with POLITICAL CONSPIRACIES would be a good place to start...

I agree, f*** Wirtz. I disagree, f*** the 8,000 that show up. I go to the UC when I want to see NHL hockey. The NHL hockey is usually provided by the opposition. The money just HAPPENS to have to fall into Billy Bucks' pocket. Going to the UC is easier and cheaper than going to St. Louis or Detroit every time I want to see an NHL game. That's why I go. Not necessarily, I wouldn't think. Wouldn't you go for something that you don't have at home? Whether that's an ethnicity, a body type, or willingness to perform certain acts that maybe don't happen at home? That might be why you cheat without perhaps "cheating up". Being the old crusty fart that I am, I had to find a band older than me to see this summer, and I found one: Just got my ticket to see THE SEX PISTOLS on August 29th at the Aragon! The ORIGINAL lineup is touring again ( Glen Matlock on bass ) and I saw them in '96 and they sounded very good. I've seen some recent pictures of them, though, and they are TOTALLY falling apart! Reverend Horton Heat and Dropkick Murphys are the support bands - should be a good OLD time!!

AS OF TODAY, July 24, the White Sox are ONE HALF GAME better than the Lovable Losers. White Sox - 51 wins, 50 losses Lovable Losers - 50 wins, 50 losses so the "back up the truck, nobody cares" White Sox are actually BETTER right now than the so-called "Playoff Contenders" on the North Side???? CAN IT BE?????? Just more proof that media hype does not win you ballgames...

In the immortal words of Bono ( or maybe it was some comedian imitating Bono ).... "DON'T STOP DREAMING!!!!!" As for me, I'm just going to enjoy the way the Sox are playing right now. Hopefully the Royals ( AND the Twins...I don't think they're dead yet either ) will fall into a rut and the Sox can overtake first place. But even if they don't, as long as they're playing well I'm going to just watch and enjoy. No point in getting an ulcer over this s***...

Perhaps "real evidence" may consist of evidence of injuries consistent with those usually sustained in sexual asssaults, testimony related to behavior patterns which may or may not be consistent with victims of assaults, and things like that. Just throwing some thoughts out, I'm certainly no expert on this type of thing...

Just curious, why a 5 for the "local scene"? As far as bars/restaurants/nightlife is concerned, I've never seen much of a "local scene" around USCell.
