  1. "No vaughn against a righty" sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me.
  2. Yes, im comfortable starting a guy who's gonna have between 4-5 war before the season ends, have dominate k-bb rates and look unhittable when zoned in. My only concern with cease is he may wear down with the innings load.
  3. Man, I went to Ron of japan last night - but im a lobster guy there. Gibsons is solid - I'm not a huge steak guy but my wife loves it so try to go to the good spots.. I miss Nine. That was my spot. Its say P&P or G&G are my favorite at this point. I like the consistency of gibsons though.
  4. Guy said he's improved, you start a post with has he and then list how he hasn't. You claiming you were asking a legit question is hilarious.
  5. Case in point. 12th in fWAR... "When is this asshole gonna be top 10!?!?!?! Im tired of this." Youre a blumpkin.
  6. You literally asked the question in jest and went on to imply he hasn't. Hes been one of the better starters in baseball this year and youre dogging him. Its hilarious.
  7. Cease 12th in baseball among qualified starters in fWAR and people here want to start keuchel over him 😂
  8. Uh yes, hes obviously improving lol. Guy has a top 20 fWAR and you're here arguing he hasn't gotten better. Honestly amazing. The cease criticism this year is dumber than any other criticism you see on soxtalk constantly.
  9. Sox aren't even letting you pay to park in the L lots or other lots anymore at all. I know two people who literally just turned around and went home after driving around for 1 hour. This team is embarrassing themselves with this situation every single night.
  10. Dylan looking like he's wearing down a little and could use an extended break. Getting lazy in his delivery. Arm still strong.
  11. It is Cubs vs Reds it sounds like. Or red Sox vs braves. Those are the two whose schedule lines up
  12. As a Joe guy, Joe had so many moments its really tough to pick one. And the Cleveland one was great, but I honestly expected that from Joe so the surprise was never there for me. The guy was just pure nails. Edit: fathom made me think tim wasn't clutch with the risp stats so the shock was amazingly awesome when he clutch cities it
  13. People sitting back and waiting for baseball to properly showcase their stars will be waiting until they die for that to happen.
  14. The reason it was huge was because for my money this guy deserves and should be the face of the game. This not only threw the team onto the national stage in a grand way, but it did it by showcasing the team and leagues most likable and enthusiastic star who is honest and real when it comes to discussing the games short comings when it comes to growing the brand. It was a game viewed nationally by a casual audience who got to see what a fun baseball player can look like and do for the game.
  15. Reason I don't go with Blum is because the game wasn't over. We still had to get 3 outs. Scotty's was... let's go home folks, that's all she wrote. I think I might have Konerko slam ahead of Blum too, but I was at game 2 so it has a special place in my heart.
  16. Tim was the best regular season moment for me. Nothing can top Scotty Pods though. It was just so unlikely and incredible and important.
  17. I honestly have no idea why anyone thinks there's a difference in when these two guys pitch. They're both going to be pitching back to back. The inning that they do so is kind of irrelevant.
  18. Kimbrel blew a 3 run lead two outings ago. Fact is the dominant unhittable back end has blown 2 3+ run leads in a week.
  19. Speed certainly isn't more helpful than world class training, nutrition and etc that has taken off. It may give you some energy but it's not helping with recovery.
  20. It's amazing, conditioning, exercise and nutrition and etc have improved ten fold over the past two decades, but for some reason position players in baseball need 20-30 games of rest per year to stay fresh while their counterparts 20-30 years ago took about 5-10 days off a season. Load management for position players in baseball is a load of garbage. Pitchers, because they've become so max effort are a different story.
  21. What have I ever stolen from anyone exactly? Pretty bold accusations. Care to cite a single instance? Thanks in advance.
  22. Lol the white sox literally just stole that from fangraphs.
