Guy has a career 1.48 FiP with 13.14 K's per 9. He's had some terrible batted ball luck but his stuff hardly is a concern.

Wrong, but I'm not going to waste time with you on market dynamics. The Brewers were without arguably their second best player and they would have pitched Priester today instead of sproat had he been healthy. This isn't a team at their best. This is just a terrible pitching staff.

I'm shocked how much people liked seranthony. The idea this is a plus bullpen is not something I saw. I don't think dominguez is bad, but he's a 7th inning arm in a good pen. Taylor the only + arm on the staff imo.

This is not the best team in the NL no matter how many times you say. If you feel that way go make yourself rich with Brewers futures.

A good reminder that the White Sox are not rebuilding, they're just bad. There's no contending core coming together.

The splits aren't that different left v right either. Definitely better vs righties but it's about 14 points. I don't hate playing the split adv though, given that the players being replaced aren't great anyway. I'd have kept Hayes out there as Beni is disabled out there.

Gotta say for the division in the dumos crowd... As a believer in Taj Bradley and still a believer in Zebby Mathews and Mick Abel, the Twins rotation has a ton of upside.

Hagen Smith can't throw strikes. For me, he's 70/30 a reliever at this point. I'm still a big believer in Schultz, but hopefully his lower body actually is stronger this year because he needs it. McDougal I don't think has the command in the zone to succeed right away in the big leagues. There is no cavalry coming to the rescue in my opinion. And that occurrence would be on the other side of the median outcome.

I obviously don't think one game matters, and I have them around 67 wins for the season, but their bottom 30% pitching outcome is historically bad... and the bottom 30% isn't exactly all that unlikely or impossible.

Montgomery is the most polarizing prospect in MLB. I still say the entire trade comes down to him. You can't just get Teel and utiliedroth for Crochet.

His swing path metrics are incredibly promising and are in the elite category. It's pretty surprising to me. Usually when elite defensive short stops who have big power come into the league and show out, they aren't flying under the radar.

I was going to start a thread, but instead will just say it here and plant the seed. In my life of watching baseball, I've never seen a Rookie do what Colson Montgomery did last year, and be so disrespected/underrated coming into their second year. He is the most underrated player in MLB. Since his debut last year, he was the 7th (top 10 in multiple metrics) most valuable defensive player in all of baseball. He hit the 9th most homers, had the 18th most WAR and the 45th highest wRC+.

I posted about it last year. I was surprised he was cut because his stuff played up in spring even if the results weren't great. I still thought he stunk, so I don't want to pretend I was right there, but i had read about the overhaul after the Sox acquired him.

Imagine thinking it's unique and rare to find Mike Vasil's. This guy should get his Vasoline ready for Getzy.

No one likes deferring to "experts" and justifying ineptitude quite like you. What's incredible is youre always quick to give them credit for success (claiming they turned around Houser's career when in fact, Houser used private coaching in that offseason to make his changes), but always excuse the failures.
