With Stone talking up Yolmer as the best defensive 2nd baseman in either league...probably thinking of trade to get something for him.

We already have had a number of warning track flyouts.

That's how I see it playing out.

Joc Pederson will probably fit the bill better than anyone else. He and Grandal would greatly improve the offense. I like Calhoun better than most here especially if money saved on RF is turned into an upgraded starter. Without knowing what Jerry is willing to spend...I have a tendency to be to cheap to buy the Ozuna model. Assuming RH has a budget...pitching has to get the majority of attention. Even modest upgrades at RF & DH is tons of improvement over 2019.

I like him for our 26th man next year.

Gordon only wants to play for KC. Switch him out for Calhoun and the rest is fine and within the $ parameters you set. I particularly think Grandal would fit great. Need two of those starters and at least two solid RP.

Your take on Collins is the same as mine. Let him play and show us he belongs. Grandal is on my offseason get list.

He plays people out of natural position frequently.

No thanks! Girardi would be great and Visquel would be OK as well. Maddon is just as weird a Ricky.

With Robert, Madrigal and Kopech joining the big club next year...we will be competitive with average players filling our RF and DH positions. 2 WAR type of players improve us by leaps and bounds. The big money should be spent on pitching both starters and relievers. Pick 2 of Cole, Wheeler, Strasburg or Bumgarner. wit

It's an impossible burden and the reason I say we dodged a bullet with Machado and Harper.

In hindsight...not retaining Avi was a mistake.

No reason not to be optimistic. We have a great nucleus and the team needs are gettable over the offseason.

Calhoun looks like Babe Ruth compared to who we have been playing in RF. He's fine if the starting pitchers and DH acquired are top notch.

Fine with me if Cole is where the extra money saved gets spent.
