Strangely Hahn seems to run very hot and cold on talent evaluation. I love his acquisitions for the major deals of Sale, Q & Eaton. I love the McCann and Colome gets as well. Alonso is the other extreme. Hahn doesn't do all these deals in a vacuum. I wonder how extensive the talent evaluation team is.

His numbers have become pretty pedestrian. He isn't worth much more than your suggested Dunning / Sheets offer IMO. Boston & NY players get hyped beyond reality very often.

When he is going good he pitches with aggression and is anxious to get after it. Going slow he totally loses that I'm in charge attitude pitchers need. Gio for example doesn't slow down to a crawl when he's in a jam.

He has reverted to his slow down the game mode. Just hate pitchers who do that. Fulmer does the same thing. The more they pitch like crap the slower they go.
