Avi last year and Timmy now chasing batting titles. Is it possible the Steverson and Sparks know what they're doing? Wish they would have something to help Engel. He would be a huge help if he could hit .270.

With a successful offseason his is quite possible. I know this attitude will get some critics but boy we have a lot of all star caliber players coming into their own.

Welcome back.

I had this surgery. On Saturday he won't believe the pain. Ricky won't be anywhere near the park. Wish him well.

VERY CONSERVATIVE!?

Jose is fine as long as he is our best option at 1st or DH. Don't be doing any Konerko farewell tours while we are in championship mode. Can't afford under utilizing 1 of 25 spots on a team trying to win now.

They are undoubtedly building the war chest for a huge offseason. Stay positive.

The daily watch can begin.

I agree with you. A few nice moves and this roster will be very good. Actually...I'm more concerned with the manager and his band of coaches.

Between RF and DH there is a lot of offense to be found this offseason.

This game had Timmy range far into the hole for a nice catch then held on to the throw because it was obviously useless. Wasn't long ago he might have heaved the ball into the stands behind 1st base. Slowly but surely these guys will learn from each other if the coaches can't teach them.

Lack of coaching shows up quite frequently.

Big time!

If this was a movie...Palka would clear the bases.

Eloy is not an easy out lately. Have a good feeling about this.

Can McCann be the hero again?

Abreu with another clutch hit to keep our hopes alive.

Timmy smells that batting title.

Strike Out but has a nice looking swing.

Next year you will be all smiles.?

I do feel sorry for him. It isn't easy failing in such a public manner.

Palka making Mendoza look like Babe Ruth.

Strangely Hahn seems to run very hot and cold on talent evaluation. I love his acquisitions for the major deals of Sale, Q & Eaton. I love the McCann and Colome gets as well. Alonso is the other extreme. Hahn doesn't do all these deals in a vacuum. I wonder how extensive the talent evaluation team is.

In hindsight every person on this board would agree with you.

That is a jaw dropping stat.
