I'm hoping we get Grandal and go with DH / Catcher / Backup with McCann, Grandal and Collins.

I was interested to see his take on lineup construction. I like it.

Pretty sure bet that they will be a big improvement over Garcia and Sanchez immediately and grow from there.

By premium I mean competent + type guy. My leading candidates would be Ozuna, Dickerson or Castellanos. Arguments could be made for Puig, Avi, Pence, Pederson & Heyward depending on cost and preference for defense or offense. No perfect candidate... but all of these would be substantial upgrades IMO.

Avi last year and Timmy now chasing batting titles. Is it possible the Steverson and Sparks know what they're doing? Wish they would have something to help Engel. He would be a huge help if he could hit .270.

With a successful offseason his is quite possible. I know this attitude will get some critics but boy we have a lot of all star caliber players coming into their own.

Jose is fine as long as he is our best option at 1st or DH. Don't be doing any Konerko farewell tours while we are in championship mode. Can't afford under utilizing 1 of 25 spots on a team trying to win now.

I agree with you. A few nice moves and this roster will be very good. Actually...I'm more concerned with the manager and his band of coaches.

Between RF and DH there is a lot of offense to be found this offseason.

This game had Timmy range far into the hole for a nice catch then held on to the throw because it was obviously useless. Wasn't long ago he might have heaved the ball into the stands behind 1st base. Slowly but surely these guys will learn from each other if the coaches can't teach them.

Lack of coaching shows up quite frequently.
