    Damn rules. If the starter doesn't go 5, the official scorer gets to pick one of the other pitchers to get the win. A leftover from another era.

    That 2-1 loss yesterday had to be the most frustrating, heartbreaking Cubs game ever. But I thought the female umpire joke (and that's all it was) was funny.

    Cheap save for Leasure but deserved. Great pitches to a good hitter. Now they’ll trade him for an older mediocre power bat. 😫

    There's times to swing for the fences and times to try and advance runners. That's why they have a manager to explain this to his players.

    A player has got to know exactly how many strides it takes him to get to 1st base. He goofed. Of course he’s trying to hit the bag with his toe.

    No Sox game so I watched Cubs. Bonehead play by a solid veteran cost them the game. So take it easy on our youngsters when they goof up.
