There has to be an over/under on the number dead from Trumpist violence nationwide through Inauguration Day. ? It's up to Republican leadership to prevent it.

I'm with Pence for rejecting the 25th amendment to remove him. It's clearly intended for a disabled president, not one committing impeachable offenses. And impeachment is going to fail, although delaying the process 100 days while Congress tries to fix all the other bad stuff is a good idea. But when you consider intentions, I don't think the Founding Fathers intended that every mouth breather should have the right to an arsenal of war weapons in his garage. Ahh, maybe they did. ?

It's why God made your DVR. -
Changing the system would require the entities with the power to voluntarily give it up. Good luck with that one. Impeachment is easy. Conviction would require getting 17 Republican senators to vote for it. An effort doomed to fail and also ruin the careers of every R senator who went along. Good luck with that one too.

George Soros is a gazillionaire financial supporter of liberal causes. The Koch's are gazillionaire financial supporters of conservative causes. I don't have a problem with either, but it's hard to confuse them. I'm certain neither would have anything to do with a armed insurrection.

Since I just saw host Lou Dobbs on Fox in a spitting rage at Senator Ben Sasse (R-KS) for his "disloyalty" to a guy who just initiated a coup attempt against his own government, I think the answer is that DJT is still welcome on that "news" outlet.

Bails out Social Security while we're at it. A Win-Win. ☹️

Is anyone still pretending that the Republican administration about to leave power that increased the national debt by $6.7 Trillion was fiscally conservative? Unless that means tax cuts for the rich and austerity for everyone else.

Worse thing I've heard today? Majority Whip Jim Clyburn's (D-SC) main office on the first floor of the Capitol with his name on the door where he sees the public went untouched, while his little hard-to-find, unmarked, working office on the third floor where all the work is done and the important papers are kept was ransacked. There had to be people embedded in the crowd directing this to happen. An inside job, A coup.

What's the breakdown on seats that are up for re-election at that time?

Sad that nowadays this is unexpected. Even Rome fell and we're the Rome of today. There were 53,000 more votes cast for Republican senatorial candidates than Democrats in the general election. Something turned that around and you're probably correct on the reason. Botching the COVID and acting like a damn fool too much will do it every time.

All net from 29 feet to win it. Worth staying up for. Wendell still gets pushed around by larger centers. He did learn about the little things, like screening, maybe from RoLo and they don't show in the box score, but in many ways I'd rather see Gafford in there than Wendell missing shots from godknowswhere. All academic if you don't play either one at the end of games. -
Madrigal could be ready for opening day

If one is to believe this site, he's been dangled in a trade offer. I'm with you, but not 100%. We have until the trade deadline to see what he is and if we need to move him to get some help elsewhere. -

Theriot redux. ? You mean Billy Eckstine wasn't Jewish either? Or Bruce Springsteen? ? -
He'll stock up on legal pads and paper clips for sure. He won't fade away. The $200M he's collected from supporters since the election will prolly be put to use politically.
-
He's got a sweet golf swing for a guy his age. His looks are prolly enhanced by 2 hours a day of hair and makeup. Can't blame him for that, Biden used to be white as a sheet but currently is more tanned up.

If they make the post season, it'll be by backing in.

Got their first win in Washington. Another tomorrow? Bet my Lexus they don't. (Relax, it's almost 23 years old.) -

At least nobody called Boylen out for not saving a time out at the end. -
Since his man Mnuchin was on the scene for all the negotiations that led to the bill he signed, his too late push for $2000 checks was disingenuous at best. It's not as if he wasn't being informed regularly about what led to the bill. So the bluff was showboating and nothing else.

Undersized to begin with, he has bulked up some, but his future is not underneath the basket. If he doesn't develop some outside skills he doesn't have an NBA future. -
Ach Dose Chermans! I believe the Dos Equis brewery was founded by German immigrants. Go to a country in the Far East and a brewery is likely to be near where the German Embassy was. Gotta go, getting thirsty.

Let's see if something similar happens somewhere else in the next few days.

Better yet, this was also true of the original stimulus check. If your last stimulus check was reduced because of excessive income in 2019, it will be refigured based on your 2020 income, once your 2020 return is filed, and if that results in a higher amount you will get the difference. As far as I know, this will be done automatically.
