Rooting against the Sox
The idea of it getting better, as realistic or unrealistic as that may seem. Even the most pessimistic of us still gotta dream.

Interesting postgame comments 5/26...
Our clubhouse is very good. There is wifi and nice snacks.

Rooting against the Sox
I mean if you’re spending two hours watching a Sox game, you’re probably gonna be miserable regardless, so who cares? Also, I’m assuming anyone that’s hoping the Sox lose isn’t actually watching full games start to finish.

I keep reading this as Pacman, and to that I say: Pacman for GM because why the hell not

Sox Quote of the Day 5/23...
Hey, it's nice to hear that a Sox player looks at their batted ball data. I'll take any small wins I can get with this team.

Yeah, the "Who cares? The team will suck anyway" comments are always a little odd to me. There's a lot more at stake than just the win-loss record for this year's team.

5/22 - 6:07pm - White Sox ( suck ) vs Toronto Maple Leafs
I get that their current best prospects were all drafted outside the top ten, but I can’t follow the logic that removing ten of the best players available from their draft board is somehow good for them.

Sox Calling Up DeLoach
How long before the Sox sign Ramon Laureano?

Maybe he meant he's the Kevin Pillar of our lineup.

Brad Keller DFA
Pedro just stating the obvious: The Sox have too much talent to find a spot for Fletcher.

Robert mentioned as trade target for Mariners by Passan
Rick Hahn must have a lot of accounts on here.

The lines can get pretty blurry between “horrible slump” and “playing at the expected low level.” And if the latter group only includes Maldonado and none of Lopez, Pillar, Dejong, Fletcher, Shewmake, Benintendi and Vaughn, I’d say that’s a massive miscalculation on Getz’s part. Horrible slump implies throwing your hands up and saying “What’re you gonna do” when there is significant reason to believe a player is much better than what they are currently showing. I don’t think any of the guys I mentioned can confidently fit into that category.

5/18- Sox at Yankees, 12:05
As a procrastinator myself, maybe they’re just waiting until mid September to work on it.

They got paid before the injury prone label.

What can we dream on for Fedde?
Ah yes, the dude that seems to add a few more exclamation points every time he makes the same dumb post is DEFINITELY not the irrationally angry one.

What can we dream on for Fedde?
Oh I completely agree. The condescending and dismissive pOsTs AbOuT aNaLyTiCs are just obnoxious is all.

What can we dream on for Fedde?
Yeah you tell em! An advanced stat that provides additional context on the performance of a player is totally for NERDS!

White Sox acquire Corey Julks from HOU for RHP Luis Rodriguez, option to AAA, recall Dom Fletcher, Ortega DFA'd
It's probably safe to say that most of us knew little to nothing about either guy before today. It's also probably safe to say that this trade ends up being of no real significance on the field. That being said, for an organization that has stubbornly operated in a shortsighted manner for years and years, it should be pretty obvious why many aren't ready to give them the benefit of the doubt here. We're all just desperate for inklings of evidence that there's a longer term plan in place. This move does not exactly help with that.

Chasing Records — 121 losses, modern MLB record
You forgot the third option of doing whatever the hell you want to do as a fan, but thanks for sharing your rules.

Chasing Records — 121 losses, modern MLB record
You had years of data showing that these guys are injury prone and still went the Hahn route of having no legitimate backup plan for when they inevitably got hurt again. Cool stuff.
