Oh yeah, I understand. The schtick has just gotten old on both ends of the spectrum. I guess that means I’m also really bored (and antsy). It’s been a long season, especially since games haven’t been meaningful for quite awhile now. I think we’re all ready for the playoffs to start. Well, except for the starting rotation.

The bolded part is the only one that truly gives me some apprehension, but there's not a whole lot you can do about that. I get where you're coming from with the rest of the list, but I'm more concerned with which Giolito and Cease show up in their playoff starts than anything else you mention.

It’s such a weird season in terms of trying to get a read on the team. They’re clearly a better team than we’ve seen due to the injuries they’ve had to deal with. At the same time, there’s no denying that they’ve racked up wins against a bad division while looking less competitive overall against the better teams. I don’t know what any of this actually means. Let’s find out in October.
