  1. I believe I saw somewhere that he’s playing in Mexico in now.
  2. I suspect you may be right, but pretty awful timing to try transitioning to a 2B prospect smack dab in the middle of the contention window, no? Let me clarify that NOW it seems fine to do considering the non-existent production we’ve gotten from the position, but a pretty questionable plan if that’s what it was.
  3. Thank you. The “once we’re finally healthy” comments are pretty baffling to me at this point.
  4. That’s not how a GM should operate, though. The “if everything goes our way” thoughts should be left to fans.
  5. Oh boy, that Menechino thread is gonna be 400 pages long if the Royals put up like 6 runs tonight.
  6. Oh yeah, wasn’t meant to be an endorsement of Gonzalez. More so the current sad state of the Sox with a sprinkle of salt in the wound.
  7. Fun fact of the day: Sox cast off Luis Gonzalez, now with SF, would be leading the Sox in Avg, RBI, OBP, OPS (aside from Yoan and his 5 games played) and tied for 3rd in BB.
  8. I don’t even know if we have enough fingers to point out all of the blame. The manager sucks, the players can’t get their heads out of their asses, the front office is incompetent and the owner is trash. Other than that, though.
  9. How about we also hold the players accountable?
  10. So they generally do not do well against some lefties and most righties. Good times.
  11. I guess technically he didn’t HAVE to throw strikes.
  12. What’s he sitting for those of us not watching?
  13. I imagine they’ll give him every opportunity to break out of it, even if it would benefit the team to do otherwise.
  14. When we talked about the warmer weather helping the Sox bats, I didn’t realize it would benefit their opponents too. I feel misled.
  15. Until his statcast page starts showing less red, I’ll assume he’ll pick it up at some point. Problem is, we need him now.
  16. I hear he will be available to not pinch hit in an obvious and key situation.
  17. I was thinking we borrow Jose Ramirez instead so we can return him as an impatient hitting groundball machine.
  18. See I was actually worse off because I missed the catharsis of reading everyone put my feelings into words for me.
  19. It’s felt to me like a 10 run game for quite a while now.
  20. Narrator: I still have three more days until I have to say my line.
  21. Lol that didn’t last long.
  22. I think you’re confusing easy with reasonable. Also, your use of the word “declare” is exactly what’s wrong with this. No one has any grounds to be “declaring” anything about this right now, and I haven’t seen anyone in here actually doing that.
  23. I’m not either, but I think there’s at least a case to be made. The Dodgers as an organization seem to squeeze every little bit out of each player. The Sox don’t quite have that luxury, so there’s more of a reliance on raw talent IMO.
