Lenyn Sosa joins the White Sox; 2 years later, Banana Ball to Chicago
Are you really gonna pretend like we’re not all starved for a little excitement during this mostly miserable season?

I feel bad saying this because I want the guy to succeed, but I was really enjoying not seeing Sheets the past couple weeks. Who knows, maybe the improved hitting is contagious enough that he’ll start producing too.

Mendick, Engel, and (maybe) Robert leave with injuries
I remember having these same thoughts last season.

Velasquez, Leury and you can put a x2 next to a couple of those you listed. Good times.

LH Bat Trade Options
In terms of the injuries I think they can overcome and the ones they can't, it aligns with the order you listed. I think they're toast without Hendriks regardless of who else is healthy. By some miracle, I can see them overcoming Grandal being out (and, by a lesser miracle, Yoan), but definitely not both. With Eloy, I feel like anything you get from him is a bonus.

Yesterday's win was so huge because today feels a little like playing with house money. Yes, they need to be winning every game they can, but you already won the series against two of their better SPs. Now you face Stripling, who generally doesn't pitch deep into games, plus a taxed Toronto pen. On paper, I like our chances for a sweep, of course that depends on which Gio decides to show up.

Any plan that involves the assumption of good health seems really misguided IMO. But that's generally how this org operates anyway.

Ha. I wouldn’t say no to a corny cartoon intro, but that was more about me being a Jon Miller fanboy.

Yup. Ravech should go back to Baseball Tonight, Jon Miller back to Sunday night games. I will go back to yelling at a cloud.

Generous strike zone so far for Kopech

A Guy The Sox Should Sign IMO
Seems to me like he addressed it by admitting he was wrong, yet peeps are still piling on. Weird thread all around.

That's a we own Verlander White Sox Winner
In the Bold Predictions thread when I said that Josh Harrison would be an all star, what I was really trying to say was Johnny Cueto would be our ace.

Eh, I don’t really get that from this. I think he was giving a very general response to a very general question. I suppose he could be dropping hints, but I think Stone’s subtleties are a little less subtle than this.

6/17 G/T White Sox v Houston 7:10 Chgo Time lift off
Don’t worry. They’ll take 3 of 4 from the Orioles next weekend and, watch out, the league is in trouble! Then they’ll go embarrass themselves on the west coast trip.

Injuries
Yep. And as another poster above said, even if by some miracle they do finally get healthy, there’s no real evidence that they’re actually a great team.
