Chick Mercedes

As Kevin Mathews would ask, “Is it wrong?”

The point, must be made

Injured, out of gas, what is it?

Was this a known medical report that dropped him to the 15th round? Or was his performance a 15th round performance?

I get the gist. I don’t quite understand the statement, but the sentiment feels correct

Oh boy, is Vahn Lackey out of gas?!! 🥹

Will he last until October?

Vargas might be more valuable as a trade piece than Bonemer. If this is truly Vargas as far as who he is as a player, he’s worth an established 2-3 type starting pitcher perhaps. The only question is the timing of when to pull the trigger. The White Sox are well positioned. Given that I know I’d much rather be paying money to a pitcher than Vargas.

Assuming the guys in the minors will pan out. That will be determined in the thinking. I know Colson is not there yet, but neither Colson Vargas wouldn’t have much leverage in this situation to talk about contracts any time soon (or even later). Unless Cholowski and Bonemer crater. And Vargas’value might be pretty high on the trade market going forward. Would this winter be too soon to trade Vargas, yeah I agree, probably. Hopefully he retained his value through the trade deadline when we know more.

Totally a laundry guy myself. But anyway , that’s what a GM has to be.

You’re paying both Colson and Vargas with Cholowski and Bonemer coming? I’ll believe that when I see it.

The Little Bulldog

He should be on the trade block as soon as Roch is ready to make the team. Hopefully carrying the amount of value he currently has, or more. Or, Colson. Those are the choices

Another waste of value of your players. Guys, you can’t keep everyone.

Bonemer’s value is at 3B. Playing him in left is a waste of his value. Someone is getting traded before Caleb Bonemer is your left fielder. You can’t keep everyone

Never understood people talking about struggling new players as having a “slump” before they first show a track record of success against the “slump”.

I was knocked unconscious once, and woke up about couple hours later in surgery prep. Trust me, You slip into nothingness way before they put you into the ground

He runs around the bases like a giraffe apparently.

While that’s a good point, and I don’t go into deep dives on baseball draft much past the third round, so bear with me. I didn’t get the impression the Sox often drafted the type of outfielder they have been targeting lately in the draft.

If he’s in left that would be a super way to devalue talent

A number of specimen type outfielders were drafted by the White Sox that are usually Yankees or Red Sox or Dodgers.

What do they do with retire portfolios when you speak with a retirement advisor? Pressure test. Run your situation through simulated economic crisis. See how strong the portfolio is. Lets see how long some of our pristine marriages last being pressure tested against the kinds of women that were throwing themselves at Tim Andersons. Good luck fellas! Be honest 😆
