  1. If you think Carrasco is as good as Linebrink, then IMO you are dead wrong. Carrasco is a total stiff, not in the realm of a Gobble, but a career journeyman at best; Linebrink has a track record of being something. If you think Carrasco was the right move over Linebrink, then bless you.
  2. Team has to start winning series, winning every series, at the Cell. Sox home performance has been of an also ran, not a contender. The team isn't even over .500. That's not a contender. If we are not .500 at the break, forget it.
  3. THat was a horrible trade. I picked him up as well, but my teams really suck.
  4. He does suck, but that shot into the gap today to score our fourth run was a thing of beauty. Nice rip into the deep gap. He got us an important extra run.
  5. Ozzie obviously is trying to develop a pattern in which Linebrink is THE set up guy in games like this. Like you said, it's either throw in Mr. High Paid reliever or put him on the DL. Hopefully he'll address the situation in going to Liney again today in the media reports on the game. There is a reason, folks, the media has to ask him to clarify it for us but it may be Oz had decided he's the guy to pitch the eighth in games like this.
  6. Liney may suck, but I'm saying you have no idea whether anybody else would have given up more than one run. Unless you are a mindreader. The sportswriters should ask why Oz put him in. He has a reason. He knows more baseball than anybody on here. But they won't ask him even though he'd give the reason.
  7. Liney gave up one run. Make your call right now. Who do you want in? Bobby might not have it today. So tell Oz what to do.
  8. So now are you all going to second guess Oz for putting in Bobby?
  9. It is all the same.Carrasco is a stiff.
  10. Bye bye ballgame. That was ball one called a strike.
  11. Yeah, Carrasco is really good.
  12. You'd prefer Carrasco? It's all the same.
  13. Mark B was gassed. Let the second guessing begin.
  14. At some point, he's going to have to play and play a lot to be considered "one of their better players," but I understand your point. He needs to play.
  15. As dumb as this sounds, Pods has been pretty good. Darn good actually.
  16. Also how many games do we have to play at Minnesota? We aren't going to suddenly win series in the dome.
  17. Good story by Cowley on Fields being the odd man out? Are we playing better since he's been the odd man out? Or at least is our lineup better with Fields the odd man out?
  18. Give me 15 hits a night and I'll take my chances. Does Walker get credit tonight?
  19. Good things happen when you get 15 hits regardless of the errors, and other failures.
  20. We win. He struck out the f***ing side! Nice job Bob.
  21. The whole game is this Rosales guy. He gets on and uh oh.
  22. Their Nix didn't hit the ball; ours tapped to pitcher. One out.
  23. Wish we would have scored one more there.
