  1. Anybody know the last time Sox blew a six-run lead in the ninth? Has to be a lot of years.
  2. Worst loss in a long time. Lot of goats. Liam included. Tony for pitching Banks to start the ninth. Graveman shoulda started the inning unless he's hurt. I'm a Tony lover but chalk this one up to the manager. Second goat: Yoan on the slow roller error. Third goat: Bases loaded and chance to win. Two outs in a row in extras. Cleveland with the spectacular play at 3B and 1B to record the big out.
  3. Some real bad at bats here in the 11th.
  4. OK, that would have been odd to walk him with first base not open. I take it back regarding Tony error.
  5. And Tony must take the blame for not walking Naylor. Raymond Burr would have had a better chance of getting Naylor out if Ray was still living. Burr won the duel against Hamilton but couldn't stop Naylor.
  6. I worship Tony but shouldn't Sox have walked him? Was 1B open? Tony should be fined. That's a managerial error.
  7. Sorry, not a fastball. A meatball.
  8. Naylor likes Sox fastballs.
  9. I am bummed Jose didn't win it with a single to RF.
  10. Who is Ryan Burr? Does he pitch much?
  11. I missed early portion of the game. Sheets didn't get hurt tonight did he? Who's the other injury?
  12. It's got to be an injury. When's the last time Sox have had a guy leave a game and it turn out good? Heaven forbid another injury. Best wishes that it's nothing significant.
  13. Don't give up. Good stuff can happen to keep win streaks alive.
  14. What's with the 2 ground balls? Ugh. I'll leave it at that. Sox still should win. They are the home team and the better team. Geezus. It's not that hard to put a game away. That was a very weak effort, Sox.
  15. OK, no excuses. Man on second nobody out. Tie this baby up and move on to the 11th inning please. There's no reason to not get this guy in when the team has been embarrassed like it has tonight. NO HOME RUNS. Get the run in!!
  16. Ozzie is (was) great but late in his tenure he was conceding those Sunday games with Sunday lineups and doing some dumb things.
  17. This is sort of captain obvious. But teams don't blow six run leads in the ninth often. Sox beat writers might have to look up last time Sox had such a meltdown.
  18. That had to be a humbling moment for Liam. Boom. Grand slam. However, that play at 3B was a killer by Moncada.
  19. Sox still might win, but it's OK to be disappointed in what's going on in the latter innings. Wow. (That was an amazing play at 3B and over at 1B). This would be a huge win for Cleveland and ridiculous loss for the Sox. Sox need to win somehow. 1-2 in extra innings.
  20. A hit by Engel or WP would be nice.
  21. Stuff happens, but Sox sure struggle vs. the Central.
  22. 80 to 1 wins the Derby. Cleveland's odds not much worse than that down 8-2 in the ninth. That guy who started the inning deserves scorn as well as contagious bad defense. Sox will win anyway I think.

I'm the kind of guy who will jump up and confront protesters if they come to my Mass to protest by disrupting Mass. If I get shot I get shot I guess. I am the kind of guy who would try to tackle somebody trying to charge my priest or charge a comedian or actor or athlete if I saw a fan preparing to run on the court. I would try to protect you improv actors as best I could.

Don't agree. Also what's the deal with comics apparently becoming extinct once Boomers die out? What's wrong with comedy? People need to lighten up and laugh at Chappelle's stuff and not want to kill him or beat him up during his performances. Do non Boomers think it's OK Will Smith was allowed to stay at the Oscars and even receive an award AFTER he slugged Chris Rock, another comedian? I would hope all age groups would learn to enjoy good comedy. If you slug somebody you should be charged in a court of law. Case closed as far as I see it.
  25. The team should not cut his pay. They need to chill on that. He should pay his own fine tho.
