  1. Interesting if Engel was sent down. That should be it for his career. Baseball can be cruel. Mr. Engel can sure field, but can't hit a lick. Another big league hopeful bites the dust (I realize nothing was expected of him as a 19th round pick).
  2. It's not Abreu's fault he had to play here during the tank years.
  3. That happens a lot to the White Sox. Very annoying.
  4. Engel is no good but as long as we are trying to lose and we've got nobody else he does us no harm. I guess I have nothing against seeing what Tilson can do this time around.
  5. I'm just glad he's been out of sight out of mind. Please DFA him, Sox.
  6. I will say whoever made the decision to pitch Rondon in a 6-1 game the other night (Ricky or Coop) should be fired immediately. That's a mockery of the game of baseball. We can't come back from five down at home?? Sometimes I think Ricky has this team overachieving then that happened to anger me.
  7. Tim has drawn two walks this series which is good. I love Timmy Anderson and think he'll be an all star this season.
  8. It's easy, folks. Find the scouts who recommended Fulmer and you fire them. Is it that difficult?
  9. It's very risky to buy a Sox ticket. You don't know which Sox you are going to get. One thing is for sure. We pissed the Red Sox off with the walk off and they've beat our ass the last 2 games with an automatic win Sunday. Bet the HOUSE on Boston and the over. Make some dough on what figures to be an automatic L.
  10. Don't worry. As long as greg isn't banned Abreu will have a LOUD supporter on here to try to nullify any hate.
  11. Damn in 3 years Tim Anderson will be quite the veteran player.
  12. That's why I despise the draft and tanking for baseball's draft. What a joke.
  13. Abreu has 32 RBI which is pretty damn solid. Poor guy can't play on a contender.
  14. That was a bad game. Can't complain after last night, though. Also, Boston's active payroll is 165 million; Chicago's is 78 million.
  15. On a lighter note, I'd encourage you to watch Machado on his homer against Kershaw tonight. He broke all the unwritten rules. I wonder if the Dodgers will hit somebody in the series. When he crossed the plate he did a whole dance act with hand signals/gestures with not one, but two teammates. Definitely worst than what Timmy did. Wonder if the Dodgers are mad or not. You know if you hit Manny he's coming out to the mound.
  16. I'm out. Not in the mood to see us try to hit Sale. Hopefully my absence will again help us rally.
  17. Stone is so good an analyst with Bennetti. I bet deep down he's so happy he doesn't have to try to get along with Hawk, who some games was OK later in his career, others very crabby.

I hope everybody is proud of me for not writing 11 paragraphs explaining all the reasons I love Ozzeroo.
  19. I worship Tim but he has only two walks all season. His batting average will eventually suffer cause of his swinging at everything. He is who he is but a free swinger like TA is going to ultimately suffer.
  20. Anybody else concerned about a Sale no hitter?
  21. There's got to be some reason pitchers are so brittle. I was just pointing out that if I'm a pitching coach I get out the Buehrle tapes for a lefty and Fergie Jenkins tapes for a righty. Fluid, baby.
  22. Different guys contributing to these victories which is always nice for team morale. McCann, Delmonico tonight. Love seeing the look on the young kid in the Red Sox jersey briefly in the shot when Nicky got all of it. I don't want to continue being that guy who praises the team when we win and expresses total angst and anger when we lose, but I am who I am. As for tonight, color me impressed. To stick it to Boston in the ninth and walk it off ... it gets no better than that. You know the whole city of Boston is fricking pissed.
  23. I hope so. His pitching is not impressing me. Again, it is a cold night.
  24. Gio appears to have reduced velocity. Is this true? The eye test is not doing Gio any favors. He appears blah to me. Maybe it's the weather. Hard to have a moving fastball in cold? His fastball screams hit me.
  25. This will be it for Covey. He'll be DFA after this stint. You can only stand so much. Ask Phil Humber.
