Royals down 3-2. Baseball is a marathon and Royals didn't realize it in April and May acting like buffoons. KC's pitching staff is totally spent. Hosmer has been a black hole. Rios is so bad it's laughable. We all know about Rios. The mojo left KC in September and they've had a horrible ALDS. Bye bye KC. Say what you want about Ozzie. The one time we got in the playoffs we fricking went all the way. We didn't waste our appearance.

But they had a mediocre September, finally getting hot the last week and a half. But their starters blow chunks. Their bullpen is not automatic anymore. More importantly the clutch hitting is gone right now. 0-12 with runners in scoring position vs. Houston. Caulfield ... they are done.

Hey I texted my obsessed Royals friend today when Hosmer weakly tapped out with runners on first and second and two out in the sixth and KC down 1-0. I said, "I'm sad for you, but that's probably the game." The magic isn't there this year. Call it the "curse of Rios." KC doesn't have "it" this year. the bullpen isn't as good with Holland gonzo. Moose and Hosmer are hitting like .100 and .200 for the playoff series so far. Cain crushed that home run to go up 1-0 and I thought KC just needs to get through this series playing poorly and maybe ultimately find themselves again. They are all outta sorts. I'll tell you one thing. BET THE HOUSE. Ventura will be awful today. He's not gonna suddenly turn into an Ace Ventura and mow down Houston. That's not in the cards, at least this season. Poor KC. They needed to pull an Ozzie last year when they had a chance and win it all in their one trip to the WS like we did. The magic is gone in KC. Rios was an awful addition; they should be playing one of their speedsters in right. Gordon should be leading off. LOL at Ned and the Royals. They.Are.Done.

I truly hate to always be a dick and can't wait for the Sox to be good again, but LaRoche is not gonna hit 17 home runs. That ship has sailed. I predict he'll hit .213 with 7 home runs and 32 RBI. Ugh.

I listened to Trump on the Herman Cain show tonight. Folks, if our choices remain crap, why not give a businessman a shot at it? He definitely has his opinions and he definitely wants to fix the economy which none of the traditional leaders have a rat's ass chance of doing. What harm can Trump do more than the traditional candidates who all suck? He actually sounded like he had a plan. Why not give Trump a shot? If he sucks at least it'll be funny as hell and I doubt one man can single handedly bring our country to its knees. How bout a Trump-Carson ticket and victory? Again, what harm can it do? If it's not them you seriously want Hillary-Biden to run the show? Boring....

My grandfather would take me to a lot of Cubs games in the shrine I never thought was even that great, Wrigley. My dad took me to a batch of Sox games. I enjoyed watching baseball and actually rooted for both and was amused watching my relatives argue about the teams. I became a teen and embraced my Sox side roots and was a Sox only fan and have been a Sox only fan. 05 was great.

Traffic violations were never wrong where the cop witnessed the violation. And yeah, unless the cop has a history of lying in court (rare but happens) you will lose. You should also know that video usually only comes on if 1. The officer turns it on, or 2. The overhead lights are turned on. The White Sox are good at ... being loyal to players and managers and front office people. The Sox are bad at ... having a sense of urgency about anything. I really truly don't think we're gonna ever get over .500 again for an extended period until we clean house. It's always "early." No need to panic. It's too early. Then every year we hit September and oh, yes, it's too late. September is a boring methodical funeral for the rest of the season. Don't worry, folks, it's early they said after going 0-4 to open the season. Oops. Give me some urgency!! We finish 10 under .500 and I sense Jerry and everybody are OK with this.
