Glenn Beck speaks. 8 years of Hillary are coming. Wow. http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/02/politics/gle....html?hpt=hp_t2

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 03:52 AM) One of the most exciting bad Sox teams of all time probably. Flowers is earning a chance to continue to start in '15 imo. Granted his high BABIP early on masks alot of suckitude but defensively and durability wise he's solid and that's important, especially if the Sox are trying to break in Rodon next year. Not saying they can't do better -- they can -- but he's at least an option, that's positive. That's a pretty excellent first sentence. Can't argue with that, except some of those Sunday games where they looked like dead fish and that recent homestand where they sucked eggs. Again, you said it all in one sentence.
-
Flowers has 12 home runs in 370 at bats; Viciedo 18 in 456 at bats; Dunn 21 in 439 at bats. Is Tyler a big leaguer? Great win. ... Flowers, Viciedo, Petricka, Sanchez, Hector, etc.
-
Sox win. Some of the inconsistent guys were really good tonight: Petricka, Flowers, Viciedo.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 03:34 AM) So would Dunn That is true.
-
Holy s***. Another Flowers home run.
-
I tell u one thing: A Viciedo highlight film put together by the Sox staff would be impressive. One of those that shows only his bombs. Same with Flowers. We know they both have made a million outs; I'm just saying they have some impressive highlights.
-
Wow, that was Taylor? A shame it didn't sail over the guy's head.
-
Nice catch on a Sierra rope to center. Ouch.
-
He's got talent. He's just amazingly inconsistent and oft-times lousy. HR Viciedo. Nice job.
-
How bout a little in-game poll. Do you want the Sox to win or lose this game. I'm in the WIN category. If you want, just put WIN or LOSE. Or ignore me, I'm used to it.
-
Scary. Garcia was kinda shallow. Nice little catch, albeit nothing spectacular.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 03:20 AM) Him playing more = better prospect/prospects for us. I don't mind if any of them are heroes. They had to go.
-
I don't know if Paulie is losing his eyesight like Fisk did at the end, but that was a dumb play by Webb.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 02:51 AM) OT- Jeff Fletcher @JeffFletcherOCR 54s Gordon Beckham is 7 for his last 16 after starting 0-for-7 with #Angels Sox have a lot of guys who will be playing in the postseason to keep it interesting: Dunn, DeAza, Beckham so far. Should be interesting to see if any of 'em are heroes. The Angels seem intent on playing Beckham a lot. Dunn's going to play a ton. And I bet DeAza plays a lot.
-
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 03:08 AM) Here comes the walk-off loss. Which I wouldn't mind because I'm all for the draft pick mindset. Yep, we don't win games like this.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 03:07 AM) He's not an extreme slappy guy like Pierre is, but he has 10 career homers in 1860 minor league ABs. That's still scary. I guess he'll be more of the dreaded utility guy.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 03:04 AM) He does not have a lively bat at all. He does a good job of making contact, but he's pretty much a slap hitter. Damn. I had liked what I've seen. Slap hitters disturb me.
-
That ruined a nice base hit by Sanchez. Too bad we didn't get a hit and run base hit rather than a s***ty stolen base try. Can Sanchez steal well? Any minor league history of swiping bases?
-
He was out. They called him safe.
-
I like Sanchez's aggressiveness. Another nice base hit. I really like what I've seen, especially compared to Gordo. You guys agree Sanchez looks like he has a lively bat??

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 07:50 PM) Yawn, thats like 3 hours worth of killings on a chicago weekend. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 08:11 PM) Should we be incredibly alarmed that 2 people ventured far into unfriendly territory and were murdered? Maybe the analogy hasnt been used enough. I think the whole world is too insensitive like your above comments. To me, an American or two getting their heads sliced off is beyond horrifying. I can only imagine what it's like to be sitting there having some British asshole berating Obama as you kneel there and prepare to have your head sliced off. It is beyond belief. It is horrid. It is f***ing against humanity. And yes I hate all the murders, every single one, in Chicago. The link to all the shootings in Chicago over the weekend is equally disturbing. Innocent people getting picked off left and right. http://voices.suntimes.com/news/breaking-n...ight-shootings/

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 05:53 PM) http://fortressamerica.gawker.com/the-isla...te-4-1629599572 2nd journalist gone. Bomb the whole region back to the stone age and then GTFO. Sad beyond belief. They are a bunch of savages. If somebody gets taken hostage by those evildoers they will be beheaded. They aren't going to let anybody go.

Another flight diverted because of passenger rage over reclining seats. Life is a b****. Can't we all get along?

It's about that time of the year again...

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 03:23 PM) I was a little busy the past couple days, but the Sox series vs. Detroit kind of screwed us a little. Sox now fell back to the #9 pick. Back to 9 GB of the #1 pick, and 4 GB of the #5 pick. Us? Not me I wanted three or four wins. Two wasn't enough in the Cell
