Interesting to see Honel, Malone and Wing there. Does anyone know their status and whether any of them still has any hopeof making the majors as just a bullpen or #5 starter guy? Or are they all just minor league fodder now?

So i was reading an article about a veteran CF and thought that his presence here may actually be something KW should consider. Bernie WIlliams is most likely gone from the Yankees and he would be a guy who could serve as a good backup to BA. He be cheap and would be willing to sign a 1-2 year deal. He is not the sameplayer he was but he'd be good for a .280 BA ( i believe he hit .281 last year) and 10HR and 60RBI. Plus, he's a solid veteran who knows his career is now one of a bench player. I'd much rather have him here than Terrero or have one of OWens/Sweeney here as a backup when they could still be progressing at Charlotte. It'd be a situation where BA could play something like 100 games and Williams 60 with BA coming in late as a defensive replacement when he didnt start (provided the games were close). I dont think it is a crucial move, but its one where I think it would actually make sense. Thought?

I didnt read the entire thread so I dont know if thjis was mentioned or not, but is there any possibility aquiring Danks has also a little to do with his brother? The way KW covets people and never forgets about them, could this possibly be a way to convince Jordan to leave Texas so they can draft him again?
