  1. I question why John Lynch is going when Greg Wesley has 20 more tackles and 4 more interceptions. I havent seen many Dnever games this year so maybe its other things (reputation, intangibles, whatever) but i thought Wesley had a solid chance this season.
  2. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Dec 12, 2005 -> 10:57 PM) You know, now that I think about it, it's gonna bea tough for anyone not to pick Brazil. As long as they have Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, and Roberto Carlos....they'll be tough. Ronaldinho is arguably the best player in the world right now. But playing in Germany, Germany will be a favorite to with Oliver Kahn mining the net. It's gonna be a great World Cup. Germany will not be a favorite to win. They are an older team and nowhere near as good as they were 4 years ago.
  3. U.S. is probably in the second hardest group. Ghana is no pushover and the Czechs are one of the top 5 teams in the world. Italy is not worthy of their one seed but in no means will that NOT be a hard game. Groups G and H are pretty weak. Spain is a regular underachiever and France is not the same as the past two World Cups. Plus, the other Euro teams there, Ukraine and Switzerland are nothing to be afraid of. But without a doubt group C is the hardest. Most groups are up in the air with at least 1 of the two teams that will advance. It should be a good tourney.
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 8, 2005 -> 01:20 PM) http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20051108/sc_...teriousmoneypit I've actually done quite a bit of reading on the Knights Templar, Oak Island and Pre-Columbian Atlantic voyages. To me, this island and the perplexities surrounding its contents are extremely interesting.
  5. The Rally Crede sleeps 8 hours a day!
  6. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 20, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) Heh. Cunning linguist. hahaha
  7. The Rally Crede killed Wolfman Jack with a trident
  8. Win it for all the old Sox greats such as Minnie Minoso, Luke Appling, Harold Baines and all the others that never got to experience a championship in Chicago.
  9. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 07:40 AM) I don't know if we'll get to see him again outside of garbage time, but I thought that the guy deserved a thread for this season. A backup catcher who did what we needed. I mean, seriously, who doesn't like the Widge? Nobody Beats the Widge
  10. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Sep 29, 2005 -> 03:52 PM) Can I get exact words? Dammit Kenny should know not to go on nationally syndicated shows after smoking crack. It wasnt like that. He was shying away saying like he'd like nothing more than to bring a WS to Chicago and then at the end he kinda just said something like "ya ok mark it down" in that 'ok fine whatever' type attitude. It wasnt a guarantee like some athletes make if that helps at all
  11. Tampa wins 1-0 Thank you D-Rays
  12. Personally I'd like to see Politte get some shots at closing. He's been pretty much lights out all year and as good as Jenks has been and how good i think he'll be, it does worry me how he's performed the last two days. Hopefully it was just cuz he was a little overused recently
  13. QUOTE(greg775 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 09:33 PM) Has any team ever been more snakebit than our Sox? Bases loaded; no runs in ninth. You wait, we're gonna need Paulie's bat before this is over and he' s on the bench. Yikes. I still agree with taking him out. If Dye had singled or AJ gapped one the game woulda been over
  14. That was a big K. Two more Hermy. Pleeeaaassseee
  15. A walk-off right now would be that much sweeter
  16. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 09:04 PM) Aaron Rowand, for all of your great D, u have stuffed up twice now. i didnt see, what did ARow do?
