  1. I have a feeling she will not be lasting long. I saw part of a special on her the other day. I was disgusted by the fact that as her people were explaining to her what her debut CD cover would be like (street and keeping it real, I do believe were the words used), she was also going on about how nervous she was as she was also getting ready for her first time every playing live!!! Yeah, that's paying your dues. She deserves any trips, stumbles, and career suicides she makes.
  2. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jan 4, 2005 -> 03:32 PM) Yeah, HE GAWN. Well, at least now I don't have to look at that annoying chipmunk-looking retard in his avatar with the sideways hat and the hooker outfit. I also came to find out that she's the porn star who ran for governor in California? How nice. I'm sure that all of her family and friends from the trailer park where she grew up at are very proud. See, she quickly became my hero of the stupid people! LOL!!! Ya gotta love porn stars who have principals! Her main cause is anti-boob-jobs! LOL!!!
  3. QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 4, 2005 -> 11:54 AM) I'm surprised the Terri Hatcher "they're real, and their spectacular" episode hasn't been mentioned.. LOL That's only because they really aren't all that spectacular.
  4. QUOTE(CubKilla @ Jan 4, 2005 -> 11:51 AM) One of the good episodes not mentioned yet is the one where Kramer is lent the "Technicolor Dreamcoat" ... Look right p above ya.
  5. I just did a quick Google search! LOL!!! That is too damn funny! At first I thought you were joking, as it sounds so damn absurd! But nope, this lady is seriously on a mission it would seem to do away with fake boobs! LOL! God bless her! HA!!!
  6. The holistic medicine episode. The scene where Jerry goes to suffocate George is priceless! "Elaine...what are YOU doing here?" Can somebody tell me who AJ has in his avatar???
  7. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 06:59 PM) Damn, there's a lot of people in Manhatten. And they must all work for ESPN with as much coverage as the Yanks get.
  8. "You must have a wide foot, you got both of them!"
  9. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 02:43 PM) Wow, I agree with every description you gave to each movie. I was VERY disipointed in DodgeBall, but loved Old School. All the American Pies are kinda classics to me now to, I love them. Agh, the American Pie movies (O.K., the first two, never saw the third) are pretty abysmal, IMO. But otherwise I more or less agree with all of the opinions there, and even where I do disagree, I understand why one might not like the certain movies. Something About Mary I enjoy, but it isn't worthy of the praise it gets, same with Old School and Dodgeball. Both are funny, but nowhere near the classic tag that they seem to get labeled with. Now Kingpin, that is some damn funny s*** from the past 10 years. Oh, and Bubba-Ho-Tep is a pretty good movie, but nowhere near as good as some of Joe R. Lansdale's other books. He is the guy who wrote the original short story, and it carries a bunch of standard Champion Joe stuff in it, but some of his other tales are soooo much better. I was actually disappointed to hear this was the first one of his to get filmed. But it is standard Joe-popcorn story. Popcorn in his case NOT being the thing you typically think of with a "Popcorn movie". When Joe eats popcorn, it causes him to have some VERY strange dreams, and they usually get turned into his most unique stories. Joe rules.

Heh, I guess I have been in a box lately. I have not heard about this little screw-over until just now. Hmmm, one more reason for me to stay out of Chicago and to NOT drive all over the state. Thank God for Metra for when I do need to head on down there for whatever reason.
  11. The picture second from the bottom says it all for me, I mean, if it is a good enough movement for the Skinheads, then it has to be cool! I agree we are overpopulating, I've seen Soylent Green and I know what the future holds, but they seem a little extreme, and a little TOO jokey. It almost reads like a joke. Instead of all out stopping people from producing, try talking people out of producing so damn much. The world would be fine if we could just bring the numbers down a bit. I have no idea how to do that, but people would be more apt to listen if they said "slow down" instead of STOP.
  12. Can't stand the guys yodeling, so I sure don't care about his baseball picks. Stupid Vegan.
  13. The people in the s*** might not be thinking that way, but many other people in the world will be. Remember after 9/11 how impressed people were by how Bush handled things for the first few weeks (before bombing the s*** out of Afganastan, and even for a little while after that), even foriegn leaders. He rallied people together quite well, and many people, even Gore backers, said that at that moment he was the best person to have in the White House. He had a chance to redeem himself to some degree with some people. He had a chance to show humanity and caring. He had a chance to be human. Oh well, it was a b****in' hill for biking, of that I am sure.
  14. Hey...who are those guys???
  15. Well, the US government has offered up $35 million right now? Amazon.com has raised $1 million is donations so far. I think something is off somewhere from our government. But hey, you can't expect us to pay to save lives when we are busy paying to take them away elsewhere. :headshake
  16. Lou's is wonderful. Nancy's is also very good. Gino's is overrated. Giordanno's are a bunch of assholes and I will never in a million years go back to that dump since they offered us the worst dining experience I have ever recieved and when their corporate headquarters offered to make it up to us, they hung up on us and we were never able to get through again. Local to me and wonderful: Michelles in Harvard is great. Stuc's in McHenry is amazing. Their calzones are second to none! GET THE TUMMY STUFFER!!! Fox Hole in McHenry is amazing.
  17. Maybe it was just a test to see if they built it up to code?
  18. O.K., so I will go along with the military shooting down the Penn. plane, but what are we saying hit the Pentagon?
  19. It's a bit funny ya know? The best pictures I have seen from this tragedy yet, and the most links, come from a site that is providing my day with a tremendous amount of humor! I decided to bounce around that Something Awful site, and those people are a riot! Great site. Thanks for providing that link. O.K., back to the real depressing stuff. Watching the Reuters footage is too dang depressing. I can't get this off my mind.
  20. I read somewhere that the wave was "20 feet tall", but that has to be a misprint, right? I mean, 20 feet isn't all that high in all reality, and I would swear Greg Brady surfed a wave that high while in Hawaii. Granted, the whole deal about it traveling at 400 MPH is pretty dang scary, but even still, once it hit shore I would think it would have died out before destroying as much as it did. Maybe I just don't understand it all that well, but 20' isn't real high. ***ah, never mind, just read the sticky above! excuse me all, been out of town and sick for a while...a little slow on the uptake here***
  21. It amazes me that people compare these games to films. In movies, you oh so rarely cheer for the badguy, and even when you do (Chucky, Freddy, Jason), they are still percieved as "the bad guy". But those films are purposefully silly (aside from the first Nightmare films and the first Friday the 13th films. But nobody really rooted for Henry in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer! Plus, you are watching movies, seeing certain events unfold infront of you. You have no choice in the decisions made on the screen. In a video game, it is YOUR choice to beat the prostitue, YOUR choice to kill Kennedy, YOUR choice to steal the cars, YOUR choice to kill in violent ways. There is a difference between films and video games. I am an avid Horror film fan, though I have drifted away from the ultra-violent. I also despise video games though, so maybe I am off base. But I hate and despise the violence they use, and to me, they are just wrong. But hey, I don't judge people if they play 'em. As GBH said: Do what you do, but know why your doing it.
  22. I concur about the undeserving Indian fans getting the GLakes brewery! Man, their Burning River is the best! My buddy, the guy next door doing the party, pretty much keeps the River in his kegerator. That is what is residing in there right now. Mmmmmm, lovely. Their Anniversary is good, but not great, IMO. It's a Triple, and I would put it up with Ommegang, but I am one of the few who is NOT in love with Ommegang. They are good, but they don't hold a candle to Bernardus or the true Belgians. I also prefer the Goose Pere to Ommegang. I still have yet to get to Hop Leaf. My boss goes there all the time, but he is a Cubs fan with season tix, and he goes after the games. I, personally, HATE the city, so you won't find me down there all that much.
  23. Not dumb, just misread it a bit.
  24. I love my beer. I don't do any illegal drugs. I've smoked pot 3 times in my life. I'm 34. I fully believe that alcohol is MUCH more dangerous than pot is, and that pot should be legal, and alcohol should be reagulated MUCH more than it is. I live in a life of contradiction, but pot is illegal, so I won't touch it. ODB? Ach, whatever. I hate Rap with a passion, but if he was a nice guy, I have sympathy for his demons. If he was an ass, I have none for him, but plenty for the ones that loved him, as I am sure there were some.
  25. 10 year old Triple Bock??? I've never had it at all, but that sounds WONDERFUL!!! A buddy has about 10 '95 Samiclauses we will be busting into on Jan. 15th to celebrate his finishing his basement off. He's another beer freak and his basement is equipped with a full bar, kegerator, beer fridge, and makeshift beer cellar. He also has a nice 52" widescreen HDTV (mines a 57"...ahem) and a killer surround system that goes throughout the whole basement, a band room, and a beautiful 1916 Brunswick pool table!!! So the Sami's (and a keg of Delirium Noel supplied by a local bar he is buds with) will go well with one hell of a party! Best aspect? He's my best friend and we live right next door to each other. There is never a shortage of beer or of a safe path home!
