Look at the picture on top! That tail is friggin' scary and weird as all git out! This thing is the most fascinating creature since that friggin' JEOPARDY guy!!!

I say let them play there. I won't have to deal with the fans stinking up our park, since I won't be there for those games, and if it gets trashed there, we will know who is the true loser fans out there. Plus, I say let 'em in as long as our vendors are the ones to benefit. Not to cut away from the Cubs vendors, but the guy who I always buy the Best dogs from rocks, and I say give him more business!!!
-
Yeah, the fans not showing up to the games did wonders for the fans in Montreal. Now they won't have a team there to be a fan of. Watching the Sox lose is not fun, but do you really think they will lose every game for the rest of the season?
-
Nope, I'm saying either try and have fun, or do something that is obviously a waste of your time.
-
I don't get it. If you are a Sox fan, why would you refer to them as "Sux"? Even if this year they are letting you down, why turn on the team? Can I assume that your closet has many hats, and about this time you pop a Twins cap onto your head, or a Yankee's, A's, Angels, Cardinals, or even a ...gasp...CUBS??? Do you not believe in having a "favorite" team and sticking with them through the thick and thin? Isn't that what being a "fan" is all about? The Expos have fans, and do you think those fans are fools? No, they are people that love the TEAM, the history, the present, and the future. If the Sox don't make it this year, then I blame a large part on our pitching not being what we all had hoped for, and the fact that our big bats went on the DL, and that some of our other players just didn't strike. ON PAPER we had/have what we need this year to make it. Injuries and mentalities get in the way sometimes though. We have a championship caliber team, and if you disagree, you disagree with a LOT of Baseball experts. The parts just didn't fire at the same time. To say this is a hopeless team is not to different than saying that the Yankees and even the Cubs are useless. We have a great club, it is just having problems now, and it might sink us in the end. But that is why they play the game so many times, to find who truely should make it. Not every team is going to win. Stick with your team or go see Catwoman in the theater.

All you need to understand Rome's brain is the fact that he thinks Jose Lima is the only person to have ever sung the National Anthem well. Lima's rendition is terrible, and Romes opinion on even that is clouded in his friendship with Lima. Rome is a tool and a victim of his own ego and fame.

My only say on this: We got swept as part of it all. The Sox should have retaliated in some way, but they didn't do anything but say that they respected what Hunter did, and how the Twins play. This, while not taking wind out of our sails, surely gave the Twins a little more energy. Then when the fans, media, our broadcasters, EVERYBODY is talking about it, and the Sox keep saying "hey, they play hard baseball, that is what we SHOULD be doing" and statements of the such, you are giving the Twins all that much more fuel. We were hurt going into this series by losing our two best hitters, then we get nailed in the first game, and we do NOTHING but congratulate the other team for impressive play. How do you possibly think that this will work to our advantage? It gave them the momentum swing, so it didn't matter if we started saying "best way for erevenge is to beat them", because we just showed them that we "respect" the way that they come here to kick our ass and succeed in doing so. I knew we would be swept the second Ozzie said he respected Torri. It fired that f***ing team up. Torri was even gracious enough to point out to the media that our own manager approved of his play.

Hollywood Babylon you say? Hmmm, maybe I will look for it.

Did they know you? They don't take too kindly to strangers. These are also dogs that were raised for the purpose of war, so they have a mean streak in them. But if you come into the house with the owners, they are probably cool. Plus, obviously not EVERY dog will be bad. But I can tell you that 14 years in the field, I never met a nice one. Now, St. Bernards are the sweetest dogs I ever met. And Huskies.
-
Not always. Some dogs are just born mean, just like people. Plus, some dogs that are raised that to be mean will be MUCH worse than others. A Bull Terrier (a Pit Bull's real name) is a MUCH more dangerous dog than many others. They were bred hunters to begin with, plus they are all muscle. One of those could bring down a dog twice it's size. They're basically sharks with hair.

Actually, the dog with the most attacks to its name is the lovely Chow. Those f***ing dogs suck. I am a Land Surveyor, and when we walk to a house with a Chow, NOBODY wants to get near them. I have yet to find a friendly one of those things. I have only encountered one mean Rott, and that scared the bejeezus out of me!!! Damn thing was inside the house and I was scared s***less! I have also encountered my fair share of mean Pits. We just had a family move into our neighborhood with one of those f***ing things. Ugly as hell, and skittish beyond belief. Plus the family seems like REAL winners also.:headshake

I didn't read all of this stuff, but I do just want to say that even with what has gone on since Bush has taken office, I am STILL damn glad that f***ing dolt of a person named Al Gore never stepped foot in the White House. And CW, your being a fan of Eminem should atleast be thankful that Tipper never got in there. If she did, Eminem surely would have been shipped to Siberia.

Just dragging this back up so that I can say that I never heard of the story with Chaplin. Does it say that Arbuckle had tried to do in Chaplin, or did they never have a clue as to who may have tried it?
-
Woah, not sure what you have been reading. The only murder Arbuckle was ever accused of was the death of Virginia Rappé at a party. Chaplin was nowhere to be found. link: http://www.silent-movies.com/Arbucklemania/Bio.html Chaplin and all of them were quite good friends. There were rumours of not getting along between Chaplin and Keaton, but those only came about from the set of The Limelight which was Chaplins last great film, and was released in 1952 as both men had reached the ends of their careers. Sorry to step off the B-Ball topic, but this has GOT to be better than talking about that idiot columnist.

Only if it involves his head slowly swelling until it explodes.
-
O/T for just a second more... "Man Himself" is Roscoe. Best bud would be the God known as Buster. Arbuckle was innocent man, 100% innocent. Now Mariotti is not so innocent of being an idiot. Amazing how much I have grown to dislike him. I won't even listen to his commercials. :puke

The true events it is based on is Ed Gein. Same guy that Psycho was based on. Ed was creepy, but not really like the 'Saw family. Possibly much worse than them though. Watch the original film though.
-
But she was inspired by Springsteen, and that just shoots all of her good qualities to hell.
-
They made one, it starred Jason Bateman. I don't get this though. There already is also a fine TCM2 out there. :headshake
-
Wow, I never thought of that. But please, out of respect to the man himself and his best buddy (check my avatar), it is "Roscoe".
-
I should hope that is not the only reason we decide to win the division. And if we do win the division, I would bet none of the Twins will sit there and think "Oh...you guys won to get back at us for Torri hitting your catcher???".
-
Those clips arent' a good representaion. They are off the album that I was complaining about. Find yourself a file sharing program (ahem) and check out the songs "Sky Babies", "Suckerpunch", "My Baby Is A Headf***" or anything off of "Earth Vs. The Wildhearts", "P.H.U.Q." or "Fishing For Luckies".
-
Except for the fact that they are the god-awful "Special Editions". Thank God for Malaysia.
-
Then yes, check 'em out. http://www.thewildhearts.com/index.shtml

Thanks, yeah... that is odd.
