FWIW, parsing through AI output to try to decipher what, if anything, is actually accurate/useful/relevant often takes more mental energy than just using your brain directly to begin with.

Your first place Chicago White Sox faced the best team in the AL with the best home record in the league, and came away with a decisive series W. They have a 37-6 record when scoring 6+ runs. They outscored the Rays 15-3 over the series. The Rays were lucky to steal the middle game, a couple bloops fall differently and it's a Sox sweep. Only the 4th home series loss for Tampa this season, and the first in nearly 2 months (June 3). Kay was excellent over 6.1 scoreless against a team that was 15-1 vs. LHSP coming in. Everson Pereira had a nice revenge/breakout game with a 2B, HR, and 4 RBI. Mune extended his on base streak to 19 with a late double. That's every game since his return. He's gotten a hit in 10 straight. Beni also looks ready for a postseason push, nice little .833 OPS over his last 14 games. Well deserved off day tomorrow before facing the still obscenely hot Red Sox.

Yep. Seems like a guy who has to get a 1-11 with 7K stretch out of his system to ramp up after an absence. But he's 25, crushes the ball, and can play all 3 OF spots with years of control. Get him on the Vargas improvement plan.

Sox staff did work with Trevor Richards on his changeup to good results, so maybe there's something there. And of course the Martin kick change as a larger sample size success story.

What's really annoying is that this isn't even a price where only the Dodgers could afford the prospect cost. There are other contenders who could beat this package. But they have the edge to keep him in FA, so here we are. Tigers dugout has clearly gotten word in Sacramento

I was just thinking that. They should be 2.5 out of WC3 after tonight....Imagine a world where they just say screw it and keep both Skubal and Mize? The Castillo trade might gain a letter grade just for keeping us out of the resulting bidding wars for the remaining options (most of whom aren't that much more inspiring to me anyway).

I do know there was chatter about Castillo being increasingly uncomfortable with his changing role/routine in Seattle as they played around with a 6 man rotation and throwing him out of the pen, so maybe there's a change of scenery benefit from that perspective at least.
