  1. Yeah the problems are higher up, I'm just assuming someone gets fired and it's not the GM.
  2. Maybe they spare Rocco and fire the pitching coach Maki instead? Turns out it's actually not easy getting passable results out of scrap heap pen arms. Really would like them to keep Rocco, worst manager in the division in my opinion.
  3. Has ANY team ever had two rookie catchers bat 1/2?
  4. When he gets the save at Fenway next August after Teel and the recently called up Braden Montgomery take Crochet yard, we will have definitively won the trade.
  5. Depends on how you're defining "when he lost his command" I guess, he's always walked guys. But his best two starts (7.2IP 3ER and 7IP 1ER) were both caught by Quero, one in April and one in July. He's allowed 6+ runs 4 times. Three were caught by Teel, one by Thaiss. None by Quero. He's allowed 1 or 0 runs over 5+ innings 3 times. Two were caught by Quero, one by Thaiss. None by Teel. He has 5 quality starts. 4 were caught by Quero, one by Thaiss. None by Teel. I just think Quero calls him better, or at least that the possibility is worth exploring.
  6. Well have you considered that if they hadn't played well enough to win 3 games, they could have lost them instead?
  7. And yet statistically it hasn't. He walks more guys throwing to Teel. If Quero costs something in framing, I think he makes up for it in getting better results from better sequencing.
  8. Better at calling a putaway pitch on 2 strikes among other things, in my opinion
  9. Close play, Teel's throws to third are too high though.
  10. You can live with it if your middle IF is supplying some of the slug.
  11. KC quietly within 2 games of a wild card with these Twins coming in for a series at Kauffman...
  12. Rookie catchers showing off against a team that could really use some young catching talent. Saw some particularly delusional Twins fans musing that they could trade Wallner for Teel or Bailey Ober for Harry Ford.
  13. For those who were asking about the last time @WestEddy @Jerksticks Interestingly, it was another popular in the clubhouse vet with the game winner vs. a division rival then too.
  14. Buxton continues to be a big Colson fan. ICYMI from last series:
  15. First MLB W for Taylor! 5th straight win vs. the Twins. And also team leading 6th save for Leasure.
  16. Based on past results, I'll assume Sox hitters will be going over his for the third time so they have a head start! I do think he figures something out long term though. Just hopefully not in the next day or so.
  17. That clinches the season series too with win #7 vs. the Twins. Tomorrow will come down to whether they can get to Taj Bradley for the third time in 4 starts. Such a weird situation for him lol, will probably be relieved to be done with the Sox regardless of how it goes.
  18. He whiffs so much, but I swear every other time he actually makes contact is an XBH
  19. Kanny won 6-2. Liam Paddack was gross out of the pen, 3 perfect innings with 8Ks (7 swinging) and a grounder to 2nd.
  20. In Game 2, Knights were down to their last strike down 2-0. They rallied with 4 straight hits to take a 3-2 lead (Amaya double, Baker single, Connor single, Julks double). Pallette got a 3K save.
