  1. Trying not to read anything into the offense looking better with LRJ sitting against a top pitching staff than it does with him playing against a bottom tier one...but these ABs aren't making it easy.
  2. Vargas picked up a 1B glove like 10 games ago
  3. Org is high on him, Fuller cited him recently as a promising bat outside of the bigger names.
  4. Sam Antonacci rehab sighting in ACL. McCants looks ready to head back to Kanny, but no one there is screaming for a promotion to make room. Adrian Gil hit HR #5 to tie for the ACL lead. Having an impressive .950+ OPS season at 19. Fabian Ysalla is off to a solid stateside start. 1.50 ERA in 18IP, scoreless in 4/5 outings.
  5. Mariners have given up a combined 13 runs in the 10th inning in their past 2 games. WAS yesterday, MIN tonight. Tonight they were up 6-3 with 2 outs bottom 9, and then gave up 3 in the 9th to blow the save and 6 in the 10th to put the game out of reach. Munoz' first ERs of the season, and first time giving up multiple hits.
  6. 3-5 day for Gonzo. Calvin Harris' first AA hit was a go ahead 2RBI double with bases loaded and two outs in the 9th. Nice time for it. Eric Adler couldn't nail the save with the ump squeezing him, and the Barons got walked off 8-7. Tommy Vail had a solid AA debut, 5.1IP, 2 ER, 5H, 2BB, 6K.
  7. Knights rallied to break a tie with 2 outs top 9. Baldwin and Amaya (over .900 OPS in AAA lol) got the RBI hits. Knights win 5-3. Decent start from White.
  8. Umberger followed up 6IP scoreless from his last start with 7IP/1 ER today to win a pitchers duel against a former NECBL teammate. Run should have probably been unearned in my opinion. Didn't have the gaudy K numbers today, but that's part of what let him go deeper. Just 76 pitches. Ballers win 2-1, Bonemer had both RBI and solid defense at short.
  9. Colson just got drilled in the knee. Looked painful, and he's out of the game. Walked off gingerly, but unassisted.
  10. Such a winnable game, just a lack of focus at key moments. Quero really looked like a rookie today, maybe for the first game since his debut.
  11. The White Sox have been shut out (5) and held to 2 or fewer runs (23) less often than the Rangers so far.
  12. When is the last time Sox batters had 18 walks in a 3 game set? They saw almost 200 pitches in this game. Legitimately like two swings away from a series win here, and maybe 1 more away from a sweep. Former Mets Houser and Vasil combined for 9 scoreless innings in the series. Holding Soto hitless is pretty impressive for this staff overall.
  13. I appreciate Taylor for keeping the inning alive so that Chase could extend his streak
  14. Just as we all expected years ago, the top HR hitters on the White Sox are a right handed Cuban slugger and a left fielder who should be a DH!
  15. Revenge game for Vasil too, after Houser got his earlier
  16. Orioles young bats have fallen off this season while Sox hitters improve...coincidence?
