This is madness. The guy hit .187 with a .641 OPS. Let’s pretend Zavala was still on some other team. If we were talking about guys to acquire for Robert, not one person would be thrilled with getting back Zavala for him. People would be wondering why we would take back such a bust prospect for Robert. The only reason people are “hopeful” about Zavala is because we are stuck with him now and if he doesn’t pan out, the Cease trade looks even worse than it already does.

That’s fine then. It’s so cheap but it might make a nice gift for family and friends that don’t know how terrible the Sox are. Imagine being the owner of a sports franchise in which you have to sell tickets for $4.63 a piece because your product is so bad… and you STILL make money. Jerry is such a bum.

It’s an interesting idea. Even if you go to a handful of games, you aren’t wasting much money. But between it being the Sox and the way they issue the tickets, there’s no way to sell the tickets for games you aren’t going to right?

You just mentioned two franchises that have been abysmal for decades outside of a decent season here or there. Reinsdorf is still the common denominator.

In the past, Rick Hahn even stated that he reviewed Sox message boards. I’m not sure why this is some big surprise. Also, perhaps traffic is down because the Sox absolutely suck and fans are fed up with Jerry’s clown show?

What does the Sox sucking balls have to do with the world owing anyone anything? The world didn’t gift Sox fans with a record setting season of futility. Jerry earned that achievement all by himself.
