The White Sox were 10th in MLB with 108 home runs and Dick Allen had 37. If I have the math right, Dick Allen was responsible for 34% of the team's homers. Too bad Bill Melton only played in 57 games, the Sox were right there with Oakland.

How about a package deal, Detmers and Soler? Detmers would be under control, and Soler would have a 1/2 season to rock before he is a free agent in 2027. Soler as the DH could be another masher in the line-up.
