  1. I am all on board with extending Muni, he would be great to build around. If they do extend him, I could see Jacob Gonzalez as part of a trade package.
  2. True or False Injured Mike Vasil > Injured Luis Robert jr. I have Vasil and his magic wand in this one.
  3. I wonder where the Sox are with Mune, there are 3 options; extend, trade, or plays out option becomes free agent. If the Sox don't plan on signing him or feel they can't then sell.
  4. Are we talking another Carson Fulmer disaster? I thought Smith was a top prospect.
  5. How close are the Sox to taking the training wheels off Hagen Smith and bringing him up?
  6. The Bears have the right to block any team from moving into Soldier Field, which sucks.
  7. Currently there are only 2 teams that I could never root for under any circumstances, the Cubs and the Packers. The Hammond Bears would expand the list to 3 teams.
  8. I could never root for the Packers, ehh, wait a minute if they moved into Soldier Field...nah I don't gamble or play fantasy football; I do have to listen to my brother-in-law repeatedly tell in me in great detail how his fantasy football team is doing, I will just walk the earth waiting patiently for spring training.
  9. Caufield I like the cut of your jib mister, Japanese Sox threads, now that is a deep dive.
  10. I enjoyed Dan doing the broadcast and the Sox putting together some wins was a bonus. I agree with you about Plesac on the broadcast team.
  11. First choice Chicago Bears, second choice AH Bears, 3rd choice any other city in Illinois Bears
  12. Every time I see the railyards I question how the hell do you shoehorn a ballpark in there.
  13. you have to start somewhere
  14. I don't watch the Chicago Cubs on tv, I sure as hell won't watch the Hammond Bears either.
  15. I am a Dan Plesac fan.
  16. Lip that 1972 season was awesome. Unless you saw it for yourself, I don't think fans can appreciate how dominate Dick Allen was. The White Sox were 10th in MLB with 108 home runs and Dick Allen had 37. If I have the math right, Dick Allen was responsible for 34% of the team's homers. Too bad Bill Melton only played in 57 games, the Sox were right there with Oakland.
  17. That ship has sailed, arrivederci.
  18. How about a package deal, Detmers and Soler? Detmers would be under control, and Soler would have a 1/2 season to rock before he is a free agent in 2027. Soler as the DH could be another masher in the line-up.
  19. Pereira and Hays have not been available, and Brooks Baldwin was out from the get-go. Injuries do open up opportunities for others. Peters has taken advantage but Acuna not so much.
  20. Is Everson Pereira close to being 100% and back with the Sox?
  21. Couldn't you just have the boomers complain to bots and streamline the operation? The bot would in turn appease the boomer with back in the day stories, it's a win win. I am an over the hill boomer and I approve this message.
  22. Organization Development has turned around this franchise. Players get called up and contribute at the major league level that builds confidence. Then the obvious, the White Sox finally got more lefthanded bats in their lineup. For years and years, they were so righthanded heavy.
  23. Braden Montgomery - Bee Moe or like the bank, BMO
