  1. No trade please, extend Crochett.
  2. For me to root for the Sox to lose is right there with cheering for my property taxes go up and my 401k to tank.
  3. I want to give another shout out to all at Future Sox for all they do. My 2 favs are Elijah Evans & jeff Cohen. Elijah is in a class by himself and jeff gets a firsthand prospectus and does interviews with the players. Sports radio and all the tv sports entertainment shows have zero appeal to me. Pat Macafee and Aaron Rodgers probably was the bottom of the barrel along with Dan Berstein.
  4. I agree with trading Robert. The guy Robert reminds me of is Eric Davis to some degree. Davis put up some great years but was always injured.
  5. Crochet was awesome and then the pen, whoa!! Leasure and Kopech were throwing strikes, what a thing of beauty.
  6. Mariotti was a terrible, miserable man and his career is OVAH after assaulting his girlfriend at the time. The old saying, "what goes around comes around", might be appropriate. I am glad there are so many more ways to gets my sports info. The old days was newspapers, magazines, 2-4 minutes for sports on the local evening news. Sports radio filled a local niche for diehard sports enthusiasts, but in time it turned to crap. I no longer listen to the Score or MVP 1000. Weird people and degenerate gamblers seem to be the hosts. Dan (A Big Boob) Bernstein had the reins passed to him from Mariotti and is the current biggest ass hat. I can get my Sox on with plenty of podcasts from very informed people. No need to go to Sportscenter or local sports radio. I still think Bruce Levine is a legit baseball reporter and will not lump him in with the cesspool of the Score. Stand Up for Schriff ?
  7. Cleveland kept the name and the history of the Browns. I think it was the only bright spot for their fans after getting shafted by Modell.
  8. The upcoming schedule has teams that can score runs with Toronto being the exception. The Sox glaring weakness of no power and no run production will make it tough to be competitive.
  9. Alonso would be out of Jerry's price range
  10. I could see the Sox going all Oakland A's and dumping everyone. Trade deadline : package Fedde and Kopech together, move Pham, Flexen, Keller, Shuster, Clevenger. Off season : trade Robert, Vaughn, buy out Eloy's & Yoan's options. look into extending or trading Crochet
  11. To get 40 homers a year from AV trade him to the A's. He will instantly transform into a slugger and the guy the Sox get will be a bust.
  12. That is one badass looking car. I will be doing a search for a picture I can frame and hang in my mancave.
  13. Fedde is on track to make the All Star team and will get CY Young votes if he keeps it up. Package Fedde and Kopech for an elite young power bat.
  14. Trade deadline: move Kopech Look at extending Crochet to a team friendly deal
  15. Why was AEW's Tony Khan wearing a neck brace during the 2024 NFL Draft? (jacksonville.com) The son of the Jaguars owner is a hoot, he did an interview the next day and kept promoting his wrestling company. Tony Khan needs to get a few billion from his dad and buy the White Sox.?
  16. Tough pill to swallow because we are seeing the team play better baseball. If callups have success it will ease the pain.
  17. Getz hit a home run with the Fedde free agent signing a rare occurrence with the White Sox.
  18. My favs at Future Sox think Getz will be able to get a big return on Kopech and to a lesser degree the others like Fedde, Flexen, Pham. You could add Clevenger to the list also. Plenty of pitching in the minors to come up and show what they can do.
  19. Fedde reminds me of Jon Lieber, late bloomer. The Sox have Fedde signed through 2025 at a reasonable contract. He could bring back something decent in a trade. I would like to be a fly on the wall to hear what Bannister thinks about Fedde's upside.
  20. Good story on Schriff. Full disclosure, I wanted Connor McKnight when I heard the Sox tv play by play was open, but I have warmed up to Schriffen. I am onboard, Stand Up Southside ?
  21. What a joy to watch the Sox get it done, YES .
  22. Totally not a fair comparison but with Robert I think about Buxton. Luis has put up much better numbers but does get injured quite often in his 5 years. Buxton when healthy is a high light reel like Justin Fields. It plays well on Sport Center and Youtube . The Twins are locked into a long term team friendly contract. If Buxton puts together an MVP season , who knows, doubtful with his 10 year history and all the injuries taking their toll.
  23. Ozzie was talking about how big a dude Ramos is at 6'2 225 yet is still nimble. Ramos was flashing some leather last night showing he is capable at 3rd. Also Ozzie said when Moncada comes back he should go to 2nd base. Fine with me.
