Remembering Willie Mays - the Say Hey Kid.
With Willie in center and Clemente in right your outfield defense would be rock solid. Me, I have either Mays, Mantle or DiMaggio in center and Babe in right.

Remembering Willie Mays - the Say Hey Kid.
Can't argue with that, Willie had it all along with good health . Willie had 660 homers, he might have passed the Babe if he didn't have military service and Candlestick Park. Hank Aaron was never in the military, which Willie teased Aaron about when both of them were in a studio interview.

Remembering Willie Mays - the Say Hey Kid.
My best friend's dad knew Jack Brickhouse and he would get free tickets and take us to Cub games. My buddy was on the field before the game and got his photo taken with Fergie Jenkins, Billy Williams and Ron Santo. His dad had a steady gig for years as a musician and worked nights. He would take me along and we went to tons of games. Willie Mays was my buddies dad favorite. My buddy had a signed baseball with Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Fergie Jenkins, Billy Williams, Ron Santo, Glenn Beckert. We used the ball to play baseball , the ball got beat up pretty good.

CANNON FIRE! And that is a White Sox winner!
That might have jump started him and then went down to Charlotte with positive vibes. Cannon has six pitches four seamer, sinker, cutter, changeup, curve, slider. I really like his upside; he has all the tools, and nobody will out work him.

White Sox 4 HR Winner !
I don't dislike Eloy or Moncada but I agree the Sox should cut bait. Eat the $5 million buyout on Moncada , try and trade Eloy in the off season.

How much is a guy like Fedde worth in a trade?
If the Sox can get a HAUL for Fedde in the trade deadline I would move him, otherwise keep him and see how the young guns like Cannon and Thorpe pitch the rest of the season. I would have no problem keeping Fedde, Robert jr, and Crochet and adding bats through free agent & trades in the off season. A couple of 2025 projections: catching: Lee & Quero 2nd base: Sosa, did he turn the corner? in the last 28 game he is hitting .348/.400/ .944

Jose Abreu Released
I am right there with you , Jose will always be a fav. I remember a few years back Jose was in the dugout and the Sox had a long inning. Abreu had either Yermin or Yomer in a bear hug pinned against the dugout railing. It was hilarious , Abreu kept the bear hug on the whole 1/2 inning , lol

Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Dec 6, 2016 Chris Sale to Boston for Victor Diaz, Luis Basabe, Kopech, and Moncada. I can still remember Peter Gammons going on and on how good Kopech and Moncada would be.

Interesting Lee comment...
Something doesn't add up why Lee isn't getting more playing time.
