  1. Deloach has had over 1500 plate appearances between AA and AAA. Colas has only had about 650. Maybe that has something to do with it
  2. Now you’re thinking like SS2k5
  3. Fedde has twice the WAR of Crochet at this point
  4. Misuhara sure is a funny way of pronouncing Ohtani
  5. Pete Gray outhit Maldonado with one arm for the Browns. .218 with a .520 OPS. Probably the equivalent of hitting .400 with two
  6. Yeah but guys like Hendriks, Graveman and Joe Kelly were starters in the minors. Guys who are middle relievers already at A ball typically never sniff the majors whereas Julk played in 93 games in the majors for a ninety win team last year
  7. Same could have been said of Reynaldo when the Sox put him in the bullpen.
  8. Back in the days when men were men, 20 year olds who were already relegated to the bullpen at low A weren’t even considered prospects.
  9. Yeah he’s a reliever at A ball that the south side sox had ranked as the 70th best prospect in the system. Dude was essentially organizational filler
  10. You mean how the league collectively refused to sign Trevor Bauer?
  11. Burger’s OPS’s have been 117, 113 and 120 and he had hard hit numbers comparable to Ohtani last year. Sorry just not buying that he’s an average hitter. Sox obviously aren’t growing 30 HR type hitters on trees here. At any rate, I don’t agree with trading a productive major league player with control for a single B- type prospect. Should have at least got two Eder types if you were going to trade him
  12. His arm isn’t exactly Moncada-esque either. But he seems to have way better pitch recognition than most of our recent “stars”
  13. Have to agree Sox would be better off without Eloy. Can’t play a position and generally all around bad at baseball
  14. Nice to see Steady Fedde bounce back after getting roughed up
  15. You sure about that? I thought an option was only employed when a player is demoted from the active roster
  16. I find that hard to believe just because of the individual/team nature of baseball. No matter how bad your team is, you can still go out win your own at bats and make your plays. I think he just had a stinker of a season under some bad coaching, rather than just mailing it in
  17. I thought he was tacitly acknowledging that, as he didn’t separate himself from the “we” having a very bad year..
  18. Yeah but it’s not even a legit story.
  19. Bennetti was a true Chicago White Sox baseball nerd, that’s the primary difference. Schriffen doesn’t even seem to be a real baseball guy
  20. I wonder what that could be
  21. This offense should be bunting a runner to third with nobody out in virtually any situation, let alone in the bottom of 8th of a tied game
