Stummster pitched one inning for W-S, gave up nothing. I think Wylie pitched three innings for the Intimidators a few days back.

Call up Anthony Webster, then I might actually pay attention to the games. Him or Jeremy Reed.

Best ever? Not even close.

If our generals had the bright idea of doing a ground invasion on North Korea, our forces would be absolutely slaughtered, and I am not joking. They outnumber our army about 1.5 to 1, and they are technologically up-to-date. The only way to defeat the North Koreans would to tactically nuke their nuclear weapons and facilities, thus giving them no chance of inflicting numerous casualties via nukes. Oh, and if we do invade or attack NK, I'd expect WW3.

Preston Wilson is a legit 5 tool player. Would I want him in a Sox uni? Yeah, but a left handed bat is a bigger need at this point.
-
Most Sox fans are blue collar guys who work the 9-5, and are probably a bit tired to watch the Sox. Of course, we don't live on the North Side, where the yuppies come out in droves to see afternoon games for the Cubbies.

Apu, what's up with the siggy of Sacco and Vanzetti?

If you want an OF, try Cincinnati: Griffey Kearns Dunn Pena Guillen (Bench) Taylor Branyan (DL) Cincy would be a perfect pcik to unload some pitching, because theirs is atrocious. If there was a way to get Dunn (would have to be Garland, Rauch, and a Tier I prospect), I'd do it in a heartbeat. An outfield of Dunn, Borchard, Ordonez, would produce a ton of K's, but a ton of homers.
-
Rauch and prospect for Castillo? f*** yeah.

Right now, it's 6-5 in the top of the 8th. 7 good starts, one bad, not bad at all. Expect his line to be 5 IP 4 ER or so.

It's probably going to be Jeremy Reed, then Anthony Webster.

Do not email me for the next few days. My brother came home, so we decided it would be better to switch his computer, which is far cleaner and more powerful. So, until we get a router and a splitter to LAN together, I won't be able to talk to you guys. If you need me, just leave me a PM here, or post a message. Hopefully, I'll get that router up in a few days. Also, I'm positive that I'll have a job in Houston for much of June.

Angel Guzman (0-1) vs. Neal Cotts (5-1). Go Cotts!

Was reading a bit of Moneyball, a book about Beane with the A's, and man does this guy think that every player he gets is the next coming. First off, he goes on how he took KW to the cleaners for Olivo. We all know how awful Oakland's catching situation is, majors and minors (except for Jeremy Brown, who I'm skeptical about). Then, Beane goes on how he got Durham for Adkins, which was basically two Type A picks for Adkins. Not once does the author, or Beane for that matter, mention that the new CBA was being hammered out. In the CBA, there was serious discussion about eliminating draft compensation, which I am for. At the time of the trade, KW could have A) Let Durham stay with the Sox and risk getting 2 A picks or getting nothing, or B) Trade him. At this time, Beane has all the leverage in the world, and KW is f***ed, in my mind. Yes, Adkins for Durham was atrocious, but think of the response if KW would keep Durham and get no compensation. Beane then goes on how he believed he got the better of the Foulke-Koch trade, and I agree with him except for Neal Cotts. He could make Beane look like a complete fool very soon. Beane also went on about when KW took Ring over Joe Blanton, who the Sox originally wanted. Beane s*** a brick, and criticized KW for taking a reliever over a starter. Amazing, because being the sabermetrics guy that Beane is, you'd think he'd want these stats: 16 2/3 IP 13 H 1 ER 6 BB 24 SO 0.54 ERA Those are Ring's stats, in AA. Blanton is stuck down in Low-A, putting up solid numbers, but not the type that Ring is doing. Just some things I thought were bulls***.

Ahhh, this looks like it will be f***ing great. Mario, Mark, Jason, and I might be taking a little road trip in early August if everything falls through for us. Where you may ask? These three cities: Fort Mill, SC - Home of the Charlotte Knights Kannapolis, NC - Home of the Kannapolis Intimidators Winston-Salem, NC - Home of the Winston-Salem Warthogs Now, since we're the only Sox website in the world that does in-depth minor league analysis, we get these things called press passes. WE CAN INTERVIEW PLAYERS!!!!! (aka I can begin to stalk Anthony Webster a lot better) If we do take this trip, we will be absolutely LOADED with interviews, and some great expieriences. Also, when we go to Winston-Salem, they have free Internet access AT THE STADIUM! So, we could brag about our roadtrip, AT THE GAME! Oh, I cannot wait!

The lady is talking about the super huge Planet X which doesn't exist. Some losers out in Utah/Wyoming/who gives a s***, actually believe that this f***ing huge ass planet is going to come through our soalr system and screw up magnetic fields and such. They say that the planet should fly by May 15-30 2003. You'd think, if it was as big as f***ing Jupiter, you'd be able to see the damn thing by now. If it does exists, cool s***, I'll die around my birthday.
