The Sox have one of the best hitters and one of the best pitchers in the game, with both locked into extremely team-friendly contracts, and still...no playoffs. No post season. No pennant chase or even race for a wildcard slot. Hell, no .500. record even. Here we are at the end of another abortion of a season with little reason to expect next year will be much better than this one. /sigh wow, a very insightful analysis. excellent. !!!!
