  1. Photoshop is too advanced for me.
  2. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Dec 3, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) than it would look like an ad for Star Wars: Episode III. I like that idea. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Goldmember or Cheat, and you have them hold lightsabers instead?
  3. QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 10:15 PM) I congratulate the Twins on their 2006 Division crown. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OMFG. You are so god damn ridiculous homefish. I honestly can't tell if you are being sarcastic because you were prediciting doom and gloom for the Sox back in August while they were taking 2 of 3 from your beloved Twins. :headshake So do the Twins have any more money left to spend?
  4. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 04:53 AM) And the argument from a Timo backer..... "But, but what about the clutch bloop singles!!!!" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why back your case up with the facts? Let's just throw s*** like I'd take Leo Daigle over Timo!!!! *waits for 406 to chime in with his pointless 77 OPS+ stat* This is coming from someone who didn't want Timo on the team last season.
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 02:51 AM) I think Borchard deserves a roster spot more than Timo. If they both hit .220 at least JoBo adds the threat of some power. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem is Joe doesn't hit anywhere close to .220. That's 29 points above his career average. Timo career average + 29 points = a respectable .292.
  6. I TiVO In Living Color every week night.
  7. Now that we have Konerko-Thome for a minimum of 3 years, what should we do with Rogo?
  8. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Nov 30, 2005 -> 08:38 PM) add anderson to the deal and you might, might, be in the ballpark. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> RFK is a large ballpark though.
  9. QUOTE(WinninUgly @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 08:00 PM) Here is another link: http://www.realgmbaseball.com/src_wiretap_...close_on_myers/ Also mentions Myers being close to signing with the Yanks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought I read Torre said the Myers signing was BS.
  10. QUOTE(Mansoo @ Nov 28, 2005 -> 11:44 PM) what about this trade?? Hank Blalock,Adrian Gonzalez <->Joe Crede,Freddy Garcia Adrian Gonzalez has decent skill in 1B Hank Blalock>Joe Crede .............. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Blalock trade topic has been beaten to death here. He can't hit lefties, on the road, or in the second half. Also, why break up our starting pitching? Garcia's deal looks better each offseason. (Look at what pitching has been getting this offseason.)
  11. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 12:29 AM) The plot behind Prison Break is basically pointless anyway. If they just would have let the execution take place, like 20 murders never would have happened. How is Lincoln Burroughs' life more important than his girlfriend's fiance's life? How many innocent people have to die just so some guy on deathrow who was going to commit murder anyway can get off? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> plus former Gov. Ryan took everyone off of death row. I watch bits and pieces of it just to see the shots of Chicago and Joliet.
  12. How many owners are into MLB for making profits?
  13. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Nov 23, 2005 -> 09:48 PM) you would want the Sox to sign Howry for 12 million over 3 years? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was his favorite player. I thought I saw Jim Hendry going through the Sox's dumpster while driving down 35th last night. <_< Think they'll sign Kelly Wunsch?
  14. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Nov 23, 2005 -> 05:39 PM) My only problem I see is Thome K's, how is Ozzie going to handle a 1-4 3K day for thome? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Probably the same way he handled an 0-3 3K, HBP day from Rowand this past season. :rolly
  15. There's a case involving the Cubs and White Sox on Judge Mathis right now.
  16. Man, Thome is going to f***ing rake at USCF. Remeber that Phills-Sox wseries back in 2004? His homer off of Takatsu was pretty cheap and probably would've been and out in every other stadium. I'll miss Aaron, but I'm really liking that "25" will be worn by a strikeout guy who will get on base 40%, not 17%, of the time.
  17. QUOTE(FGarcia34 @ Nov 21, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) Well Beckett and Lowell went to Boston, so Blalock is still available. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He can't hit lefties, can't hit in the second half, and can't hit on the road. How would he help this team?
  18. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 21, 2005 -> 05:45 AM) Yeah, I always thought Ramirez was untouchable over there. Maybe not now, perhaps. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Yas' point was who is offering this trade considering Boston doesn't have a GM. yakyu, you can bash the Cubs here.

    "My Humps"

QUOTE(mr_genius @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 01:22 AM) Have you seen any of his "ghetto soap opera" dvd. It's retarted and brillant. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's not "brillant," it's annoying. This is coming from a R. Kelly fan.

    "My Humps"

    QUOTE(knightni @ Nov 17, 2005 -> 11:21 PM) My Ding A Ling perhaps...? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ooohh, you toch my tra-la-la.
  21. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Nov 17, 2005 -> 10:26 AM) I feel a regression for Eyre is he goes to the cubs, another bust year for pitchers under that horrendous coaching staff. Then again, if this is Bruce Levin reporting, he probably hasnt even talked to the cubs yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Definately. See Hendry overpaying for Hawkins and Mike Remlinger.
  22. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 02:38 PM) Delgado does not fit Ozzie's description of a new #2 hitter. Pierre does. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No s***. Who said they wanted Delgado for the #2 spot? I want him for the #3 spot.
  23. Uhhh, the Tribune ran that after the Cubs defeated the Braves. The Cubs waited 95 years for a postseason series victory!!!!!!! I really got out of Cub fans grasping to that "argument" before the Sox's run. I told them "but wouldn't you rather be known as the last Chicago team to in a pennant or a World Series?" Postseason series victories are meaningless unless you at least bring home a pennant.
