  1. but this isn't the *official* executive of the year correct?
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 7, 2005 -> 06:01 PM) Fixed the poll. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks! QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Nov 7, 2005 -> 06:05 PM) Can't we have them all at the sime time? Pleeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaase! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Where are they going to play?"
  3. QUOTE(WinninUgly @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 10:19 AM) If Paulie goes would this even be a remote possibility? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd be shocked considering KW and Doug had a verbal war in the public back in 2003.
  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 05:04 PM) AJ Burnett ≈ Kerry Wood. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wood > Burnett
  5. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 10:46 PM) I remember Carlos Lee batting second but never Frank. Did Manuel really do that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I remember him doing it during an Oakland series in 2003. can't argue with the results though: .500/.545/1.000 in 10 at-bats
  6. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 03:13 PM) Giles numbers have gone down alot lately. his on base is great. You can use the argument that he plays at a pitcher's park in SD, but half his games are on the road as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HUH? Giles' 2005 road stats: .333/.463/.545 That's like Frank Thomas in his prime.
  7. So after showing the Cubs that 2004 was a fluke, the Cubs didn't allow Glendon to pick up his $2 million option but instead decided to give him another year along with bump in pay?!?!? What f***ing sense does that make?
  8. rotoworld was speculating that he might be removed from the 40-man roster this offseason.
  9. I'll see if I can get it translated when I go to class today
  10. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 30, 2005 -> 06:36 PM) We went about about 3 years ago and I thought the M Force was completely off the chain. I can't imagine it getting better. I gotta hit it up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I waited 4 hours in line to ride that back during it's intial opening of May 2000. It was awesome.
  11. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) Marte, Rowand, and El Duque for Manny. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> save Marte for the Delgado trade. B) Pods Iguchi Thomas Delgado Manny Dye aj Crede Uribe
  12. QUOTE(That funky motion @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 08:51 AM) How about Urbina and the Ozzie connection. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How about not. That guy is a lunatic who'll f*** up the team chemistry.
  13. Cubs (foolishly) signed Rusch to a 2 year $6 million deal, and picked up Scott Williamson's option.
  14. Let him walk, and if we need him, we'll just trade for him.
  15. I remember this asshole over the summer bashing the Sox and saying on tape that if the White Sox were to win the World Series, he'd pay out of his own pocket to come on ESPN 1000 and be verbally assualted for 5 minutes. Is this guy still filling in for Dan Patrick? I would love to see one of us put this loud mouth Red Sox loving prick on the spot.
  16. QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 02:35 AM) Also, Krush sprained his ankle in the celebraton and when we stormed the alma mater, I swear there was a rally crede chant. It quickly turned into "crede crede" but it was definitely a rally crede chant for awhile. Me, Krush and AddisonSt were all there for that one. To sum the night up, this is the best night of my life and my bank account will begin to be emptied on champ merchandise tomorrow. Also, I reek of champagne from our victory celebration. GO GO WHITE SOX <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was one of the first people on the Alma Mater statue. You probably saw me waving my Bobby Jenks jersey.
  17. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 09:50 PM) that J.R. guy on that cubs message board I think hates the whitesox more than he likes the cubs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep, and with comments like Nancy Faust being lame really shows how much of a f***head that dips*** is. Is he aware that the Cubs' creepy organist is a student of Nancy's? Doubt it. f*** off J.R, you bitter, know nothing, Sox hating, scrub fan. :fthecubs
  18. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 08:40 PM) I remember he choked in Boston. Well, choked may be too strong, but he got his ass rocked. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He gave up a 3-run homer after Gooch f***ed up a routine play. None of those 3 runs were earned, and he still finished the game. His two blown saves came in back-to-back games against the Indians. He gave up an 0-2, 2out single to Bret Boone to knock in 2 guys that Damaso let on. The next night featured a flyball that should have been caught by Rowand but ended up as a double. Only one of those games that Bobby blew the Sox ended up losing, and that game was more Marte's fault.
