My assumption, and if I am wrong then I am sorry. Usually ESPN.com or MLB.com will have the highlights of a play such as this. Neither have it and that is why I said I don't think they want anyone to see it again.

I have a feeling that most would not like that play if our player went ot of his way to demolish the catcher. If it was a play that the catcher was blocking the plate and/or he had the ball the that is a different story. I feel the same way Queen Prawn does about this situation.

I don't agree at all. Yes his RBI totals are much better but he is batting in the middle of the line up. He was a very good hitter with Florida as well. Florida wanted speed and traded him for Juan Pierre. He will hit anywhere he is at and he would be a good fit at the Cell. He could play CF or RF and let Crazy Carl continue to DH and Rowand take the other OF spot. When/If Maggs and Thomas come back healthy this year then we have some nice problems to deal with. It would be a good move depending on who we give up.

I have a question for everyone here that loves NASCAR. If NASCAR is a sport then how come there is not one single high school or college NASCAR team? If it was truly a sport wouldn't there be such things? NASCAR to me is like watching a hamster run in his wheel.

No I was not trying to be a smartass. Some people have different classifications and group things differently. Some people group southern states differently than southeastern states. It is really hard to tell if someone is being a smart ass on a message board or through written word sometimes, but I was in no way trying to do that. Plus if you look back I didn't tell you anything. I questioned it.

Some people classify FL as a southeastern state and don't lump it with the rest of the southern states. SOrry I offended you and it seems as though you are very angry at the moment.

Just because he is small and skinny and in shape doesnt mean he is an athlete either. Yes you can choose Oliver Miller or Shawn Kemp from the NBA. You can choose the guys you did in the MLB. I just think there are a lot more examples and easier to make examples of NFL players than any other sport. Look at most defensive and offensive lines. THere are tons to choose from.

Then why use baseball to make that point? Just look at the NFL and you will have a lot more proof of that.
