It seems to me that it all has to be blown up... I am probably overreacting to an extent - but despite Lavine being awesome and getting a good but not elite player in Vuc (which is actually a problem - cause you should use your chips on elite guys and I do think in hindsight - this is a disaster move...maybe not in the sense of they overpaid...more the fact that we blew our chips on a good...not elite player and when the elite player comes around...maybe they won't have that same shot). At the very least - the urgency to make the move seemed unnecessary. I go back to...the move in isolation just wasn't enough (some of this is hindsight...some of it I said at the same of the deal). The good thing is - development and young teams take a long time - its part of why I have never loved the "blow it all up" and win through the draft scenario...it has to be a blow it all up...accumulate assets and find stars (not just draft picks). Lakers would still be in nowhere land if it weren't for LBJ coming and than they had the ability to give up a ton for Davis. They weren't going anywhere with their "haul" of picks.

I was enjoying the bulls up until trade deadline. Now - I literally can’t stand this team. I can’t watch more than a few minutes without turning the tv off because I get zero joy from watching the team.

Would be great to see Bummer figure things out. Awful start to inning. Up 6 and two walks...pathetic.

You were all over it. I had a similar fear which compounded when they made a move while ignoring how bad the point guard play was.

Keuchel was still pretty solid given the last minute call to start and he had a run where he was cruising before he just broke down in the 6th. If Rodon is for real - Cease is your weak link and this rotation is pretty damn good.

His stuff is electric. I pray his arm and body hold up. If it does - he's going to have a HECK of a season.

I want Fields. Seems like he might fall and the last few drafts - it feels like the QB no one thought was going to be the guy ended up being the guy. Why can't Fields be that guy. Dude is a tremendous athlete and has tons of experience. He isn't the perfect passer - but can make plays, etc. I don't know whether he'll develop or not - but he seems to be the guy that might drop into a range where the Bears don't have to pay an exorbitant price to move up and take the 50/50 chance.

Mark, White, and Williams - 8 points total tonight in 67 minutes. Williams with 2 points in last 2 games. And White - completely broken. One of the worst players I have seen - given the minutes. Horrendous defense, disaster point guard...and now a worthless scorer too...the one thing he did decent prior to the team getting him inside his own head for being a crap point guard.

Already at that point. I can’t even watch them right now - so frustrating. Williams so passive - White horrible - Lauri actually not bad and probably should be starting. Don’t get me wrong - Lauri had issues with his passiveness but his defense had really improved. Donovan is struggling right now too - bad rotations - too many minutes for Thad - but worst of all we went from a fun, ball moving and fast paced offense to this horrible Boylen like offense since the trade deadline - just dump it into Vuc lazy offense. God they have failed in the draft - when Lauri leaves for nothing they will be left with White and Williams from all their top 10 picks...pathetic and having given up two more picks. I had to be the downer in the room - but I am really really down on Bulls right now and this front office. Vuce in a vacuum was okay - but it was a lot of chips for a borderline all star who is at or near his prime...especially with the other guys flailing. Hoping I am wrong but after a surprising fun start - I am starting to be annoyed at what we blew our asset load on and whether the Bulls are now painted into too tight of a corner. Donovan will figure it out and maybe they just need more time plus a point guard but they need to get lotto lucky and keep this years pick!

3 in a row. 7 guys in double figures and Santarosky had 9 Pts. Lauri with 18 points in 18 minutes. 16 TO's though - so 2 straight games with a ton of TO's. Lavine and White had 9 of the 16.

For the record - madrigal caught the ball - that was something else that went flying. At least I am 90 percent sure of that.

Beautiful - Abreu with the Grand Slam - Collins with nice AB's. Giolito grinded through without his best stuff - bullpen (sans Marshall) was very good. Tons of hitters just battling. Nice win - despite one horrible inning.

Last few days - the quality at bats, the takes, driving pitch counts - all have been trending positively. This team has so much talent - whether it lives up to it or not - it just has a lot...you forget how young so many of these guys are. Will there be growing pains...sure...will all of them live up to their overall ceilings...probably not...but the reality is a lot of guys with above average ceilings on this squad.
