Yep, pretty soon this board will have a little different look. It should be a bit quicker as well and a little more capable of handling the higher traffic. Also the search function should be restored fully and hopefully some of the statistics as well with the new version. Right now the db is too huge for it to work.

Addy, I think if the Sox want to, they have the financial resources to get both AJ and a 2nd baseman. It looks like they still have 6-8 mill available. Although I think some of that money will go to Arow when its all set and done.

The one thing I will speculate on is this. When the Sox have made there signings there haven't been rumors of them offering the particular guys contracts, more like straight up signings. I guess El Duque started more as a rumor, but kind of a rumor of it being a done deal.

Its not really trolls, its former members that got banned trying to create a disturbance. I haven't been around much at all the past 2 days, but they've done an awesome job getting the new ip's rebanned.

They have done an especially good job tonight. Really appreciate all the hard work they put in. These problems will go away though, they may of learned proxy's but there are other ways to block the specific users.

I think the nice thing is, there are two huge independent message boards for Sox fans. Both have great loyal communities and the atmosphere at both places is different. Some prefer here, others prefer WSI, while others go to both. All I know is its great to hvae so many choices for White Sox fans to talk with other Diehard Sox fans. And I think your wrong in the sense of constant whining. I can't speak of WSI, but in general I Think people at Soxtalk are rather positive. Of course there are both sides to a lot of situations and its good to see both opinions, imo.
