    Rescue Me

Haha, if it helps I'm also a Notre Dame fan A few of my buddies also liked Lucky...so with you included, now I know they just screwed up and got rid of a good show. Then again, I actually enjoyed Tru Calling and I'm sure that show is going to get cancelled. What can I say, Elisha Dusku is HOT.
  2. I didn't listen to them. The one thing I didn't like was it was hard to catch all the bands. Their were a few times I had to choose which band to hear. I agree with you on how they had to keep the shows shorter. It was pretty awesome though, plus I didn't even have to pay for parking cause I could use my schools parking pass, hehe. Their were a few bands where I was just like god do these guys blow. I also missed Bad Religion which kind of dissapointed me. I was always a fan of theirs as a kid.
  3. Great Stuff as always Dan. I'll put it up as a main story on the site in the morning along with the graphic Ian made for it. I forgot to email it to you today and to send it to my computer at home.
  4. Oh ya and of course one of my personal favorites Yellowcard..s*** were they awesome live. But I agree with you on Taking Back Sunday, great stage presence, but I can't say enough how insane the pit was.

    Rescue Me

Thank god FX was replaying it for Hawaii or whatever...that was a really good show. I'm looking forward to this. I already love the Shield (gotta be the best show on TV, minus the Sopranos) and this first episode was good. Plus Nip Tuck is good too. I also liked Lucky, although I guess not that many other people did.
  6. I heard most of the songs already, but isn't it out for purchase on the 27th? How insane was their mosh pit at the warped tour. I ended up seeing the 2nd day at Cal State Fullerton. Got to see Alk Trio, Thursday, NOFX and tons of others. It was a pretty f***ing awesome show. I think its the best concert I've ever been do. Great bands 24/7. It made it better cause I thought I was going to miss it (had finals on the 1st day, when I originally had tickets) and then found out it was 2 days and was able to sell my tickets and pick up ones for the new one.
  7. New Taking Back Sunday...July 27th
  8. We got Hankins, Nelson and Majew when we were there. Ya, the recording is gonna be crappy for all of them to a point. The recorder I used was Mario's, but his doesn't let me connect to the computer to make a wav file so I finally got off my ass and bought one so I set the recorder next to the other recorder and recorded from that, so I think thats why it isn't quite as good. Although it was pretty noisy where they were.
  9. I'm too lazy to PM this, but this is my one and only warning. One more post along these lines and I'm suspending ya. Your entitled to an opinion, but this is just freaking ridiculous. The thing that upsets me is your a damn good poster. As far as Gray goes, he's a real sleeper. Has always been a great hitter and was Rickie Weeks teammate at Southern University. Hit damn good too, I think he was 3rd in the country in hitting the year Weeks went real high to the Brewers. Also a lot faster then I suspected.
  10. One thing to say is that Kip Wells was agood first round pick. He's had some sucess at the major league level, even if it wasn't with the White Sox. However, I am with you, hopefully the Sox can start getting production out of their 1st round picks. At the same time, they haven't had a really high one in a long time. I am really excited about Brian Anderson though.
  11. Brandon McCarthy was taken out after giving up a two out double in the sixth inning. He gave up 4 runs and I'll update this post when I hear how many hits and strikeouts he had and what not. He gave up 2 in the 4th and 2 in the 6th. He gave up 7 hits.
  12. Munoz is pitching and has just finished up 5 innings. Charlotte is winning 7-1 over Norfolk. Tetsu Yofu is pitching for the Knights tomorrow, then Josh Stewart, and followed by Jason Grilli who will be looking for his 6th straight win.
  13. Nice, I still haven't made it out there. I'm planning on doing it once football season starts. I just hope I come back with money in my wallet, lol.
  14. Sweeney just knocked in a run with a single into right field to make it 8-4. I didn't catch the earlier frame, but I think McCarthy got knocked around in his part of the 6th. Not positive though, it seems like thats what York is hinting at.
  15. Rogowksi just hit a RBI double to make it 6-4 Winston Salem and Josh Fields followed it up with an RBI single to make it 7-4. It appears that McCarthy will be coming out for the 7th inning. Sweeney is now up and he is 1-3 on the game.
  16. Rob Purvis Promoted to Birmingham By Jason Gage July 21, 2004 FutureSox.com Earlier today the Barons activated outfielder Scott Bikowski from the disabled list, while sending DH Brian Becker back to Winston Salem. The Barons still had an open roster spot though, resulting from the promotion of Jeff Bajenaru to Charlotte and Rob Purvis got the call from Winston Salem. Purvis has spent the entire year with the Warthogs where he has pitched as both a starter and reliever. He has pitched in 34 games on the season with the Hogs, making 6 starts, going 4-5 with a 4.89 ERA. Purvis has given up 93 hits in 77.1 innings. Purvis was a 1st round selection in the 1999 amateur draft out of Bradley University. He spent parts of 2002 and 2003 with the Barons, but struggled both times. Purvis will be one of the long relievers in the Barons pen while Matt Smith has taken over the vacated closers spot (was Bajenaru's spot). Smith had been closing for the Barons prior to Bajenaru's promotion, while Bajenaru was nursing a sore groin. Notes: Scott Bikowski went 3-4 with a run in his first game back with the Barons since being activated from the disabled list. Brian Anderson went 1-4 in the game with a 3 run homer, his 3rd since joining the Barons. Anderson is hitting .304 with the Barons. Eduardo Villacis pitched 5.2 innings and got a no decision while Brian McNichol finished the game off to get the win (3.1 INN, 1 H, 0 R). First round pick Josh Fields has homered in the Warthogs game (in progress) and also singled. Brandon McCarthy is on pace to get the win in the game.
  17. Ya...hell, we should have a whole episode of "Soxtalk: Jurassic Carl" just to straighten out the issue
  18. Oh I fully agree with you. He can go get em in center and one thing I know is that I'll be really pissed if the Sox deal him. With all the things he can do, and the way he's coming along (I expected him to come along much more slowly) he needs to be untouchable. I also am really excited to see Sweeney in his groove. Sweeney has a shot to be Top 100 if he finishes the year strong. I think all his early hype will help him out as well, but he's got to finish strong and continue to improve on driving the ball. The fact that he'll be in AA next year at such a young age says a lot about Ryan. This is assuming he stays healthy and continues to grow.
  19. Oh ya, its great to be special and part of the secret committe, I'm sure I've been fired from this years though
  20. Thats hillarious...but like 2k said, if thats your sig, make sure your shrink it up God, is that funny though
  21. Anderson is also really developing his power. I'd say Anderson will be in the top 100 prospects in all of baseball next year.
  22. Glazed flavored drink...that just sounds awful.
  23. All I know is I'm glad Evan is interested in Great Falls, cause he can fill me in what I miss every week cause I just look at what the high picks are doing pretty much. I just don't have much interest when its that low, other then the guys who are touted with high upside. I mean its such a long way up, I start to follow guys from Kanny on usually.
