He's gonna be a tough sell. THe thing is I'd sell him for nothing but a minor leaguer with a live arm (Doesn't have to be a proven guy, but someone you see some potential in). Can Larry be intense, or is he more laid back? Just wondering... Never paid much attention to the Drays when he was there. I know they spent a lto of money and never won. He comes off as a pretty mellow kind of guy. I know I personally back Backman and have no problem with Bobby V. The only guys I don't want to see are Joe Torre, Tony Larussa and Jerry Manuel.
