I couldn't tell ya that one Nuke. All I know is that this freaking thread is too long for me to go through and I think the whole point is moot. But thats just me. Konerko was a good player with the Sox. He struggled mightily the first half and that definately had an effect on the club, but he's hitting .294 in the 2nd half (According to YES Network) and has a great attitude. Only big thing I gripe with Konerko other then his speed is his salary. Its a lot to spend when a team doesn't have an 80 or 90 mill payroll.

Thats you, but others may want to bring it up. I know if a player plays like crap, I'm not afraid to say it. Thats not to say I'm not rooting for them. I probably speak for everyone when I say once you put on that Sox uni, no matter how little I like ya, I'm still gonna root for ya to be the best player in the majors.

Just cause a good play is made, doesn't mean you overlook a mistake. I'm a huge PK fan, but I know he made a mistake. The big mistake he made wasnt' going on the grounder, but not getting into a run down so Olivo could have a shot at getting to 2nd.

I'd do the same, but I'd at least give him his shot to prove he can do it in AAA. Once September 1st rolls around, if he's still not cutting it, then I'd thank him and tell him to get back into the dugout with the team the rest of the way and just rest. His health is important and he shouldn't be pitching at the level he has this year.

Agreed. One bit thing I've noticed though is how the Sox are starting to milk pitchers into very high pitch counts early in the games. I think that bodes well during the playoffs as well as down the stretch. Still, they will have to work and keep working/improving at getting in eveyr and all baserunners

Seems like great news for Charlotte and also potentially great news for the Sox. I'd guess you'd see him up here in September and then competing for a job in the bullpen next spring.

To me the Gameplay is a big step up. Its harder to play defense and offensively its much more realistic. Receievers catch balls they should catch and the cb's pick balls they should pick.

Don't get a shock collar, those things hurt the dog. Just continue to train it and things should get better. Go with what Ss2k3 said. And if you doubt me that those things hurt, just try one on for size...trust me it hurts like hell. To prove a point my buddy and I tried it to get his step mom to take it off of his dog. Holy s*** is all I can say. We kept trying to get it to go off and it wouldn't, all of a sudden the damn thing went off and shocked the hell out of us (it was one of the bark collars, so just picture me and my friend barking, trying to get shocked).

He was fired and Rick Carlisle will most likely become the new head coach.

And another playoff birth. Dont' know how they did today, but they were playing Huntsville (2nd place team) so the magic number could drop pretty quick.
