  1. Inning over.
  2. In this case Marte didn't pitch Sat, Sun or Monday so he should be very fresh. I wouldn't of used him if Buehrle didn't get in this jam. I'd let him get out of this and then if the Sox score any runs in the top of the 8th I'd go to Ginter and then Koch.
  3. Well..JM and I agree.
  4. Another fister and its 8-3. I'd get him out of there and go with Damaso
  5. Sullivan is on the DL and comes off it on the 31st so thats more risky. Who knows now.
  6. Two cheap hits to start the inning. Come on Buerhle, buckle down and get out of this.
  7. Damn...I'll still take Scott Sullivan
  8. I agree with you. I've said all along that Crede and Olivo should be allowed to grow. THey will play good defense and improve. I think Crede will become a very good offensive player sooner then Olivo (I think we'll see Crede have a pretty good late run to the season and he'll have a much better year next year). Still I've always said those two were getting blamed becasue the other guys (The ones expected to get the job done...weren't getting it done).
  9. He is going to be relieving this season unless the Sox drastically need him. This tells me another deal is in the works or they will be calling up a mnior leaguer. Either way I see another deal in the works.
  10. I think everyone here will like Scho. If he is happy with staying in the pen I think he could turn into a stud reliever for the Sox for a while.
  11. That would be sweet if there was such a system
  12. 2 out single and Tucker is now up. This has to feel good for Buehrle. he gives up two and Sox come right back and score three.
  13. Hell ya...we aught to start up the pshyic friends hotline
  14. 2 minutes ago the radio here reported it. It was hillarious...caller was talking about why they'd deal Schoey. Talk show host had no idea he was getting dealt (it was Hacksaw for those that are familiar with him) and after he hangs up the phone they finally hear about the deal.
  15. Crede goes yard
  16. Ginter is gonna replace glover, imo. I still see one more trade being made.
  17. Ya...we gave up one older prospect for one thats a bit older but with better numbers. Not quite as good of an arm, but I've heard Nickle can hit 94 (Saw him pitch but didn't pay close enough attention to hte point I can't remember him much). I know he looked solid. Bittner is just a scrub in my book.
  18. I'm on...aim me at Chisoxfn16
  19. I like it cause it gives the Sox a damn good lefty reliever or a guy that could turn into a good starter although I have my doubts about him in the rotation. I'm happy. Sox still have a need in the pen though, imo.
  20. This sounds like a pretty fair deal to me. Nickle and Bittner are kind of washes (Although there is a shot Nickle could contribute for the Sox). Very fair deal...I like Scho more then Glover so I'm happy with this deal. I guess its like Jimenez and Glover for Scho.
  21. YEP...Sox also acquire Doug Nickle and gave up 2 Minor leaguers.
  22. Doug Nickle is also acquired by the Sox. I saw him in spring training. Has a good arm and had a tremendous spring. Supposed to be a classy guy (There was a long long article in the times during spring training about him). I recall him being a writer as well. Is kind of old for a prospect if I recall.
  23. This story will be updated with more info in a bit.
