I sure wish Malone could gain some control. Think, this is a kid that can baffle guys and get through games with 7 walks. What would happen if he say, "Thew Strikes". To me this is one of those kids that may take time to finally get control, but once he does - LOOK OUT - Cause he has one of the best left handed arms in the minors.

Well, I take his personality over some wife beating druggy (If he takes steroids, I don't count that as being a druggy, maybe I should). I also think he gets a lot more crap then he deserves when it comes to his personality.

This one is sweet too. Now when oh when is Charlotte going to do so, cause they have always had a down site in my mind, at least in terms of being updated. I wonder if Kann and Charlotte are next?

I'd say that between McGwire, Sosa, and Bonds, Bonds would be the one I think is least likely to be using/having used the juice. I'm with you 100%. By the way friend of mine whose a weight lifter saw McGwire at the local Savon (He lives down in OC, I think he lives in my city, but not sure if he's officially moved in or not). Said the guy is absolutely huge. Not that its really a shocker. To me Bonds is the one guy that I kind of think just worked his butt off in the weight room for some years and as he got older he just slowly started to get bigger.

Well, I say if your a Sox fan that loves going to the games, why not pick some of the ones where you are going to save more scratch so you can go to more games.

Ya, tons of people in Cali are starting to play roller hockey. Our highschools still don't have it as a sport though, or at least it wasn't when I graduated, it was just a club. I have played it a bit, its a fun sport, but never been huge on it. Thats probably because I always played Soccer, Basketball and Baseball as a kid and Hockey never was a big sport until I started playing it at an older age.

i want to know that too.. and no one has a good answer yet... is he hurt or is it theres just not enough room at the inn for him to do anything else but dh.......nobody i have talked with yet seems to know for sure........... A lot of it has to do with room. Miles can't play short and they are playing Nunez there with Hummel at 3rd and Harris in 2nd. Borchard is playing in center and they aren't playing Harris in any of the corner slots. That means he doens't have many options. Miles can't really go to center cause the Sox want Joe getting all his time in center. Hummell can play any infield position, but Miles can only play 2nd and he isn't going to be playing over Harris. Reason being tools wise Harris is much better, he's also younger. I know those Mile fans may not like that, but if Harris develops a better eye, he could be a heck of a leadoff hitter.

Off the top of my head Holt went to one of the Texas schools where he was one of the best power hitting prospects in the country. He got injured and then came into the majors and was slumping. Last season he seemed to turn the corner and he's one of those guys that could turn into a very good prospect or could just continue to flounder. Cotts is legit though. The kid has control issues, but I think he still hasn't given up a run now in two starts.

The big reason I like Backman is he is my kind of manager, the small ball manager. I feel the same way you do SI. I think the Sox will win it all, thats why I believe if they fire JM, they will fire him quickly.

If I were them I'd first try Cream of Marquette.

Paxon should do really good. Jordan is going to be heading over to take some type of position this offseason and I think there is a good shot that Pippen will be playing for the Bulls. I've heard some people say that with Paxons being hired as GM, it may mean Rose gets traded.
