Rooftop Shots

Am planning to go to Mondays Oakland game, but haven't been able to find out anything if Frank is going to be in the lineup for his return to The Cell. Can't find out any updates on his injury/rehab. Haven't heard anything on the news, and nothing is being said about it on Oaklands forum either. Anyone have anything solid to report on this? Thanks!

Anybody know if there is a major league ruling on whether a pitcher can switch pitching arms to whoever comes to bat if he has the ability to do so?

Anyone have any info on this? I was watching Yankees/Red Sox game and on ESPN's Bottom Line it showed that Big Frank left the game early with an undisclosed injury.

Out of all the original major league teams that started, everyone has had their turn holding the trophy ahead of the Cubs, which puts them in last place in that category. I'd rather have a bad win/loss record for one week, than the worst record for trophy ownership for the entire century.

Been wanting to post this for a while but keep forgetting. I see a lot of interesting and unique signatures on this sight, and was wondering how a lot of you came up with your names. Mine is quite obvious, and on previous threads I mentioned why I chose Rooftop Shots. Being bred in Old Comiskey, the Rooftop Shots, really seemed to emulate what a devestating homerun was in that park. It was a HAUL to get one up there. I like the The Cell, but man, I miss that upper deck outfield. Not only that, but with the upper deck outfield, when the bombs went off after a home run, the place just SHOOK! Not sure if this is the right forum to post this or not, but I noticed that many other posters bring up other info from other MLB Team Message boards. Looking to see if there is a link that will get you to each individual board if you so choose. Not sure how to get some of them. EXAMPLE: If I go the Phillies.com to want to read about any Contreras rumor talk, and how their fans feel about it, I can go to Phillies fan forum to get to a board, but cannot get to the PhilliePhan board through it. Was just wondering if there is a page or web link available that has "ALL" of the MLB board address links on it so as to click on it and go to any board you choose immediately. Thanks for any/all help and replies!

Haven't read the whole thread, but if I recall, someone mentioned on the board quite a while back that Thome's injury was throwing related. I believe that only because of the nature of his injury, aquiring a left-handed power bat in the line-up, but also it gave a lot of insurance to sign PK for now, and for the long haul. Whereas management would rather risk on him than big Frank, because not only of the nature of Franks injury, but take in consideration that here's a guy weighing 270Lbs driving hard on the same foot that was broken twice already. I hate that Big Frank is no longer with us, but if you were management, who would you rather take the risk on?

I'll be there on Saturday. With zillions of people in attendance, if you've never really met anyone from the board, how do you know who is there from Soxtalk? I was at the KC game outing and was crammed in with all the WSI group. Only met a couple of fellow "Posteries" from Soxtalk that day. Is there such a word as "posteries???" Anyway, would hope to meet some Soxtalk members.
